The first game that I bought that I first played on a pirated version, because god damn this game completely deserves my money. This is a roguelite-like game that's honestly one of the most fun games of this genre that I played. Before starting a new run, you first have to name the dude you are playing as, the ship, maybe customize the color of the ship if you want to and then you can start gaming. The thing that I like about the game is that the story of how you found the planet, what happens after you leave the planet and the planet itself is procedurally generated. I personally like naming myself as some fictional characters I like and just imagining that instead of the characters being in their own universes, they are in this game's universe just being in the ship piloting the rover, maybe going insane because of a funny looking alien artifact. Almost every run you are bound to find something that you didn't see before, and the combat is also pretty fun. It's rather slow in my opinion, but the slowness actually adds quite a bit to the combat. You don't need to have a perfect reflex to avoid getting hit, you just need good strategy. You better don't get hit, or you may just immediately get your rover exploded, or hopefully only module gets damaged so you can just recall or try to fight back. Or maybe you don't notice a thing crawling around and something will get into your rover, and you'll have to deal with it on your own ship. I've seen some people not liking the radiation mechanic, but I kinda like that it's a timer which you can somewhat slow down by going to the medbay thing occasionally. The horror in this game is good too. It's not over the top like a complete horror game, but it's almost always unsettling instead of a jumpscare fest. Overall, I recommend this game if you like unique games with some horror elements. I could probably add a few other recommendation things, but I'm not really good with knowing WHY a game is good.

Really fun game, wish I checked it out sooner. Overall the experience is super fun, can't wait to see whats next from this developer, as in this game I had a ton of fun. My ONLY complaint is the DEFAULT SETTINGS SUCK. IT MAKES IT HARDER TO SEE THROUGH THE CAMERA. BEFORE YOU PLAY, MAKE SURE GRAPHICS ARE SET TO MAX. Otherwise, you'll get a way less enjoyable experience, like I did for my first 4 fricking hours... I'll deff be playing more.

Scavenger SV-4 is incredibly creative and entertaining, the horror elements genuinely made me so scared. The lore and tidbits you get is so cool and entertaining, I love the designs for everything from the animals, robots on the planets, and the ship. I just wish there was more to it, more game play. I love rougeikes but this would be so much better with a fully fleshed out game where you go planet to planet collecting items, getting stronger and stronger each planet. I feel like its constricted to its genre how it is and the game could be incredible if it was expanded,

Got this game because I was bored and knew I could always refund it if I didn't like it. End of my first play session I had spent 2.5 hours on the game, explored multiple planets, nearly got eaten by an alien life form and had an imaginary astronaut tap on my window. Overall the game is pretty good by my standards.

Nice little game that scratches the itch that you might have if you've played Voices of the Void. Unfortunately, it is rather short and a roguelike on top of that, so the experience is more akin to a taste than a full meal. Honestly, though, with a fleshed out story and longer gameplay loop, this could be a whole thing all on its own, but I'm glad the dev took the time to make a game like this. We need more like it.
