This is a amazing Game. Fast action, nice grafics and sound. Each character plays different. If you like dungeon crawler, fantasy and a lot of hours to play: go for it! I really recommend this game. Works perfect on Steamdeck.

Finished a run with assasin girl, and man that was satifying. Game got me hooked and I want to play with other characters too. Not a copy of another game, characters feel unique, you can get various playstyles. camera angle felt weird at the beginning, but I got used to it now. overall I strongly recommend!

Yes, but only kind of. This game was introduced to me as a "sleeper hit" that was amazing and for some reason nobody is playing it. I agree the game is really well designed. However, I'd venture to guess that the reason people aren't playing it is because there is some wicked ripping input lag that is so counterintuitive to the gameplay loop that it just gets... annoying to try to play. When I press spacebar, I expect my avatar to dodge, not wait a few seconds to get hit and then dodge. Not do nothing at all. This kind of issue will continue to hamper this game from being truly great until it is resolved.

So this is one of the many games i see off youtube and decide to give a shot to too fill time and felt a bit mixed in it... So the general idea of the game is you explore 3 floors of a randomly generated dungeon layout to find items and upgrades before going to a boss on the final floor. You do this 3 times basically to beat the game currently. The game has a few neat ideas for a dungeon crawler rougelike but also alot of things that are like eh ok..? The pros i would say is the combat feels pretty good and some of the skill choices you can get to upgrade your character feel decent and fun to tinker with. There is a fair enough varity in what you can do on your runs to upgrade your character and try winning. Now i will say there is a long list of cons or concerns i would say since playing i'll try to explain some. 1.) There isnt a clear description of what certain skills are when picking up items or what their effecting. Overlapping effects from rune ( upgrades you can equip a character with before going into a run ) and more so items you pick up with skills and how they synergize or overlap. 2.) Balance....this is the big one for me. So the way the game is set up you can get into extremes that are normally capped. examples of this are having 100% dodge chance...stunlocking enemies or bosses with effects or attacks ( is a intended mechanic in the game ) and others. This in itself is kinda odd as it does trivialize some aspects of the game but also is weird in the sense you sorta have to lean into them in some regards given the monster balance seems off in ways. There is a few attacks from mobs or bosses that are not very...clear to say the least on how to dodge or their pathing. Example being spinning discs that seems to simply randomly track your character when they feel like it over a pre-determined spiral pattern. Also, would note how some enemies and more so the last boss is like basically a big HP sponge. Even maxing out your gear for the level your on you still have to chip at some enemies and more so the final boss to kill them and thats not very fun. Ive had many encounters were i stun-lock the boss and im sitting there just wailing away at it for ages waiting for its hp bar to go down and wonder...if this wasnt stun locked..would i want to really fight this thing for this long AND dodge mechanics? ( mind you this is normal..not even the higher difficulties ). 3.) The game just needs better explinations for things i feel on what they are or descriptions. Examples are like the type of attacks you can do. The game has a combo system so that each character has different ways of attacking when using your basic attack and the name for them isnt immediately obvious and makes for bad gameplay when you find a skill and have no clue what its even supposed to be enhancing etc Overall the game is playable...why i give it a recommend but feel it does need to smooth out alot of systems and long term how their combat is going to be or intended to be given how effects and skills are designed for the game and scaling for the mobs etc. It almost feels like its more of a mix of become more broken than the mobs to counteract them for scaling over skill playing a big part in things. Otherwise the game is fairly fun...have some achievements left for difficulty clears is all but dunno if i want to bother finishing them but do hope they add more to the game overall. The base is there..it just needs some work around the edges for it to "Feel" better. Also just iron out small things like say in the jungle area how the retractable plants can clip into the walls and make them impossible to hit or iffy at best etc.. ( small stuff like that isnt overly worth griping about as it doesn't impact things a ton )
