Good game and budget-friendly. Sometimes it's horror, sometimes it's comedy, and sometimes it's just balls-to-the-wall absurd. It's not that hard either. We even got the true ending on our first try. We did have to replay one level a couple of times because we had no clue how to kill the Marionette. My best advice for new players during hostile encounters during store hours or closing time is to be like Ash from Evil Dead. Not the sane Ash, but the boomstick-and-chainsaw-slinging Chosen One who fought the Army of Darkness.

TL;DR Simple, not too fancy but fun game both in Single-player (Story mode too!) and co-op - can't confirm latter is working properly as I have no friends, neither Curator followers so... whatever, right? So I can't try it, but SP looks solid and runs nice. Notes [*] Note that it HAS Single-player mode . Tries to give the impression that it doesn't, but it does. [*] Also note that Demo is still available! . If you are not sure you'd enjoy this game, just clickety clock the very well hidden "Download Demo" button on the right of the Store Page, close to the top under "Is this game relevant to you?", and there you have it. Details I played the Demo eons ago and wishlisted the full game as I liked it a lot. Now it's out I bought it and... it's the same game. Funny, nice, entertaining. It's like it was a super-light-weight [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/239030/Papers_Please/] Papers, Please combined with a massively oversimplified [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/2709570/Supermarket_Together/] Supermarket Together , a pinch of low budget teaser of [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/246900/Viscera_Cleanup_Detail/] Viscera Cleanup Detail , all this with a touch of horror and some shoot-em-up and there you have it. In other words, it's a little bit of everything in a pleasant mixture with a reasonable price tag, offering at least a couple of hours of fun & joy so I can only recommend it, go for it. On the side, it reminds me a little of [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/3398110/The_Walking_Trade/] The Walking Trade as well. Same, same, only very different. Negatives As anything and everything, this game is not perfect either, so there you have it. Mind these but don't let them hold you back, at least from trying the Demo: [*] Runs smooth yet a bit too needy (resource consumption wise: GPU, CPU, RAM...) compared to what it offers (gfx, audio, map size, player actions, animations, etc. wise) but that's not a surprise from the weakest, borderline popular "video game engine" (rather: joke) on the market right now, Unity. The upside is it really runs good (I guess they use KCC as), as there are no jittery object edges, no hiccups, no stuck in items or weird collisions, etc. so they definitely don't use Trashnity's built-in, physics-based Character Controller. [*] I named my pet "MASSACRE" and this very smart game starred out the "ASS" from it... Big WTF, so I restarted and gave a different name... It's so dumb, so stupid... [*] The game in general lacks depth: It won't grow into a high-complexity something, more to do, new maps / area open, etc. so it doesn't have much depth and layers, therefore, the fun really is limited to a couple of hours but again, price tag vs fun it's an absolute winner. [*] Could offer more key mappings and smarter ones, e.g. I'd be happier if I could reload both with MMB and a key, as well as use both a key and LMB to manipulate items (assuming I holstered my held one) Promo Feel free to follow my Curator Page, [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/46155089-Hooked-Or-Horrified/] Hooked or Horrified for future updates and new game reviews.

It's overall pretty fun to play, but the optimization is kinda worse than the demo, and hopefully there'll be higher maximum player available in a lobby.
