Sniper Elite 3 is definitely a game for the patient player the kind who enjoys setting up the perfect shot rather than rushing in guns blazing. Every mission rewards careful planning, tactical movement, and staying hidden behind enemy lines. When everything comes together lining up that long distance headshot or sneaking through an entire outpost unnoticed it’s genuinely satisfying. The story itself is simple and mostly serves as a backdrop for the gameplay. You’re sent to North Africa during World War II to disrupt Nazi operations, and while the narrative isn’t particularly deep, it does its job of keeping the missions moving. Most of the enjoyment comes from how you approach each objective rather than what’s actually happening in the plot. Gunplay feels good overall, with the series’ signature xray kill cam still being as brutal and entertaining as ever. Watching a bullet tear through a target in slow motion never really gets old. However, the mechanics can feel a bit rough around the edges. Switching shoulders or aiming around corners should feel smoother, and sometimes the controls lack the fluidity you’d expect from a precision shooter. Enemy AI can also be hit or miss. Tanks and soldiers occasionally seem to have superhuman awareness spotting you from hundreds of yards away even when their turrets or scopes are facing elsewhere. It can be frustrating, especially when you’re trying to play stealthily. But once you get used to the quirks, the game opens up. The large, semi open levels allow for creativity you can snipe from distant cliffs, sabotage vehicles, or blow up fuel depots for those satisfying chain reactions. Visually, Sniper Elite 3 looks great for its time. The African landscapes are bright, detailed, and refreshing compared to the usual drab European battlefields most WWII games lean on. It has improved level design and freedom of approach compared to Sniper Elite V2, and I’d agree it feels less linear and more open ended. It’s not without flaws the story is forgettable, the controls can be stiff, and the AI occasionally defies logic but when you’re crouched in the sand, lining up the perfect shot and timing it with a distant explosion to mask your sound, Sniper Elite 3 delivers moments few other shooters can match.

Having played v2 for the first time, I went straight to 3 and I wasn't disappointed in this either. Of course its the same concept - lone sniper infiltrates a number of camps and either sneaks or blasts his way through objectives to save the world from the nazis. PC Graphics were in funny place in this era, of PS 3 prioritisation and bad PC ports and though it looks great, there's a little uncanny valley going on, and I preferred the gritty look of v2. But the devs had definitely learned from the previous game's level design and SE3 really builds upwards. The levels are varied and complex, typically offering 3 main tactics; pure stealth, patient sniping and hiding or gung-ho (the latter often doesnt end well!) But I liked how a couple of levels really preferred to take a specific approach. The series' piece de resistance is of course the gory kill cams, and these have certainly been improved, showing far more muscle and membrane being shredded as well as bones! So a very nice update from the previous game in most areas and well worthy of a play. Looking forwards to number 4.

Sniper Elite III is a all time classic for me Love the game The story is pretty good but of course a Sniper Elite game must focus on Sniping and Trust me THERE'S A LOT OF THAT IN THIS GAME. This game Focuses on the Libya Front in World War II and it showcases that really well i think Also as for Diffculties i think this game Goes Greatly for new and Experienced players just try the Hardest Diffcutly lol. All in all i give this masterpiece a 9/10 having a lot of fun playing it

Another fun addition to the series, but as I play this one I realize that they are quite repetitive. I don't think I will play another. Still a good game, though.
