Sonic Colors is one of the best 3D Sonics in my honest opinion. However, Blind Squirrel Games did not do a good job making the remaster. Luckily Fans have created several mods for this Game which I will link: Project Re-Rainbow (MUST HAVE): https://gamebanana.com/mods/535070 Other Essential Mods: https://gamebanana.com/blogs/19265 Using the Hedgemod Manager I had a blast 100% this game. Would recommend only when it goes on Sale! (Winter Sale going on at time of review) With mods I'd give this game a 8.5/10 with minor hiccups. Playing it without mods would damage your eyes lol

This Sonic game feels nice to play. However, the levels are way too short, as I felt that if they divided a single stage into multiple levels!

There's not really much to say, it's Sonic Colors, it's a good game. That being said, paying 40$ for the remaster (with Denuvo I might add which SEGA refuses to remove from their games) when the Wii version exists for 12$, has no useless DRM schemes, and there are 4K 60 FPS patches for emulators that get close to the same quality as this remaster? probably not worth it in that instance if you can track down a original copy of Colors. When the remaster is on sale, it's a no brainer, but not when it's 40$ considering the original version of Colors is cheaper if you can find one at the time of writing. It's good this game exists in some capacity outside of the Nintendo Wii, but SEGA needs to remove Denuvo from their games, it makes no sense to have on a remastered title.
