Score: 6/10 [*] Art: Basic and nothing out of the ordinary, but it gets the job done. [*] Music: Equally basic and unremarkable. [*] Story: No story. [*] Gameplay: A mix of autobattler and roguelite presented as a slot machine. It doesn't innovate in any of these genres, but it is entertaining. Most abilities are standard options, including physical attacks, magic, stat buffs and debuffs, and status effects such as bleed and poison. There are no permanent attributes to improve between runs or items to unlock. The only unlockables are three characters and two abilities for each of them, which feels very underwhelming and limits replayability. The slot machine theme is also underutilized. Overall Experience: Spin Hero is entertaining for a couple of hours, but its lack of variety and progression systems make it difficult to recommend for much more than that. It's a decent way to spend some time, but I wouldn't pay more than $2 for it.
Simple to play, with speed of x4 u can play runs of 15 mins more or less U need to know what is better on the situation (items for the character) U have all the time 5 stages. The same enemies on the same stage u will remember what enemies do poison damage, bleed or other types U depend a lot of the rng to get good items. One run u can get 5 legendaries and other runs with 1. For me fun part was make a poison build and see incrementing all the time, to 50 poison to 500 of poison One part i miss it's they don't have a log. Like a history of how many times u day in total, with that character. How u die, with poison, bleed, what enemy kill u. The time of the runs...
Decent, but very barebones slot machine game. Would have loved to see updates/additions to the game because there is definitely a lot of room to improve on this base but for the price, especially during a sale it is more than enough. Also, to the developer: If you are planning to have audio mute on unfocus, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make this a setting, especially for a great second monitor game like this.
This the best game I played in a while. It is so simple yet you have so many path you can take to win a game. Every round feels different, the different character with their different powers really feels like you are playing another game each time. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a game to pass the game and love big numbers on the screen.
