First of all I will say this game is way different and unique than initially expected and its FABULOUS its one of those games where the story is what keeps you not the graphics even though The artstyle character desgn world building into Polygon graphics is just amazing like there is nothing to complain its just too perfect The story is kind of a slow burn that picks up the pace mid story and its so intense that you can't take your eyes off the screen without knowing what happens next It follows a linear narrative though and most decisions are basically for falvour so don't stress when you pick a choice over other, though at the very end there are 2 very very important decisions that effects the ending and the characters, but still don't stress about it as the game autosaves before decsion so you can go back if you want Another thing to be noted that I liked is you play multiple characters taht important to the story not just one guy so adds perspective and a lot of depth The puzzles are very user friendly and I genuinely enjoyed doing the puzzles FABULOUS GAME OVERALL RATING 100/10
NO SPOILER: First the cons so they are out of the way: - The characters show as many emotions as a Polish guy smiling. (Then it makes sense when you realise that it was made by Germans lol) - The animations overall are not that great and there are a few bugs here and there. - The controls are so awful, it feels like they got the ones from truck simulator and decided to attach them to a human character to see how it would behave. Even Tomb Raider on PS1 was smoother. And it gets worse when NPC are getting in the way That said, the game, is still "playable" as it is not an action game, and you have no time pressure to perform actions throughout the game. The pros; - Happy to see some european SF/cyberpunk, instead of the usual USA/HK/Japanese style, which surprisingly matches what you would expect of a future Berlin. (The lack of caps attached to the plastic bottles surprised me though) - Interesting take on cyberpunk. The story is a rather original, and it starts unveiling after the first chapter. - Chill game, do not expect too much action, but once again, the plot is decent (not the best, not the worst). - The game lasts 8~9 hours. So you can one shot it if you want, or play it ez pz as well. The chapter are made well enough that you know where you could stop, where it could end etc. Why I would still recommentd it: - First, get it on sales not full price. Otherwise it is not worth it IMHO. (-90% during summer sales) - CF the pros: The story is somewhat original in a time where "cyberpunk" is overused everywhere and usually disappointing. So I appreciated that. - If you liked cloudpunk, you would probably like it. It is the same kind of game where you just do not think that much and simply "live/go through" the story. So it is REALLY good if you just want to chill yet play something. If you did not like cloudpunk, I would not recommend that game at all.
Well, I kinda like it. I was skeptical at first because the low-poly visual style didn't immediately appeal to me. However, I had a hunch I would enjoy the concept, so I decided "Why not?". The character controls are definitely not flawless - moving around makes you feel like a wobbly cat, sometimes crashing into random walls without any purpose. But globally, I really liked this game. I can definitely recommend it!
Good premise and setting, with sharp dialogues and characters who have distinct personalities. Sadly, the game loses momentum toward the end, mainly due to budget constraints — it’s janky, and the ending is extremely wonky. The overall presentation is a mixed bag: while the atmosphere in Berlin and NY is captured perfectly, the skipping and floaty animations break immersion more often than not. Still recommending it for its current price and embarking on a search for more gritty adventure games.
I'd give this a 7/10. Whilst I enjoyed it, it's a bit of a mixed bag. On the plus side: - Its a great concept and story (and would make a cool sci-fi movie). - The characters are well developed and the voice acting is very good - The visuals are impressive - It's a reasonable length On the negative side: - Although there is some game-play, it's very linear and verging into interactive-movie territory. And what game-play there is is very easy. - From what I can tell, choices generally don't affect the end-game; just your achievements and bit of character interaction. The only choices that really matter are towards the end. - The story is quite convoluted and there's no guide as to what to do next. So if you have a few days gap between playing, it's easy to forget what you were doing Just saying: - The characters are all a bit "polygon-y"; body proportions are a bit odd; and movement is a bit janky. But actually, that kinda fits with the aesthetic of the game, so I'll let it go.
