Which Became Humanity's Downfall. Humankind while it may seem(somewhat) thriving during this novel's course, is actually on the verge of Extinction itself & w/Advanced Technology even being seem as taboo in some circles.. With each passing Chapter, Stella of the End is Asking you if you think Philia is Human, if you don't think she's human, it asks if you tell the difference between her & a Human as the story progresses. Even if humanity dies, the machines we have created will inherit our love and create the future Jude's Decision at the end of the game, to kill Grosvner in-spite of his plan to save Humanity because it would mean Philia wouldn't be able to achieve her dreams & live as a Human. Effectively living the rest of her existence for thousands of years as a Prisoner; Post-Rapid Mental & Emotional development. Killing the Grosvener(Even if it meant dying afterwards) was the most Human Act of the Entire Novel. (Jude the moment he had to abandon his humanity for his work - refused) It was a Pure Display of Jude's Love for Philia - which follows the theme of the game above. The KN ends w/ Philia receiving Jude's Last Name.. Becoming Philia Gray / Walking her own path. Carrying his Love & Legacy.

I loved this so much, in my opinion it's by far the strongest entry of Key's "robot trilogy"! The setting and world-building are incredible and full of creative ideas, I was so invested in the lore and honestly cared about the exploration of the world and technology way more than the characters. The singularity machines interested me the most, they're so cool (honestly wish there was more content about them). The atmosphere is immaculate too, the art and music are magnificent and always manage to convey all sorts of feelings. I'd say the plot is well paced and encompasses different themes, that vary from suspenseful action, wholesome moments to pure sadness. The character interactions and development are very well written too, which gets especially evident towards the ending, that's lovely and emotional, though I really wanted to see what would've happened if the protagonist actually completed the delivery. Overall I found this VN simply beautiful and engaging!

First fiction I have ever cried to, even though I played and watched MANY emotional ones. I was definitely not expecting this. Beautiful messages, beautiful arts, beautiful soundtracks and I could go on and on. Definitely recommend it.
