A kinda-simple ship building game that's carried with chill vibes, chill music, and fun dialog! I do kinda wish that the ship building had more interesting goals around it. Only occasionally does it say "build as small as you can" or "this part can't be anywhere near this other part". It could have used more varied challenges such as "this *needs* to be this wide/big" rather than "the ship needs this many parts". But the game is cheap, and the rest of the game carries you through! I post this review soon after the credits rolled, so perhaps the postgame has those kind of challenges I'm looking for...

I got this game because I love Cobalt Core. Its got the same amazing vibes despite the different genre. Super duper enjoyed my time with it, I played it all the way thru + did extra missions/dailies since I liked it so much! I so dearly hope that the devs will just continue to make games about weirdos in space. Or not in space-- anywheres fine I just hope there's still freaks

Cute aliens build spaceships for other cute aliens in open-ended puzzle-optimization game I love the simplicity here: Customers tell you their specifications, you figure out how to build a matching ship while turning a profit. The customer dialogue is warm and cute and the shipbuilding is cold and precise. It's a perfect match.

It's a low stakes chill game that lets you build starships. You're given general directions (this much thurst, this much manueverability, this much firepower) and then pretty much complete freedom to build it however you want. Missions are engaging but not particularly challenging. There aren't timed challenges and the budget restrictions are fairly generous so you can choose how hard you want it to be. If you want to compete on the leaderboards however you need to be absolutely diabolical in how you design your ship but outside of daily challenges you have a lot of freedom.

On the surface I played this game to maximize profits and unlock parts. Deeper in I realized I was playing to see more characters and dialogue. At this point all I do is make ships into funny shapes, profits be damned. I may advise catching it on sale as it's not a very deep game; but it is a fun one none the less.
