If you're going into this expecting a gigantic, genre-defining platform experience, you might end up feeling disappointed. But go at this from the perspective that this is a goofy indie game thrown together by a handful of passionate people, and you might get charmed by what you see. The devs clearly have a huge passion for what they do. And clearly had a lot of fun setting up the base mechanics, the dialogue, the mini games, the visuals, the music, the secrets, etc. They've also added tons of little nods to several other 3D platformer franchises. So they've definitely done their homework. But Super Chipflake Ü does a great job of standing on its own, and doesn't feel like it's trying to be too much of a copy"CAT" of other games. Finishing the game was a breeze. But 100% completing it was a fairly decent challenge. Some puzzles were confusing to find solutions for. I DID end up looking up the solution for ONE of the puzzles by the end of it. But otherwise, plenty of puzzles and challenges just needed you to rub things together until you found something that worked. I will say, the game was so entertaining for me that I had no issue with going the extra mile to 100% complete it. No regrets. To be critical though, the crafting mechanic, while neat, felt a little tacked on. And many times, I felt a little directionless when it came to puzzles that required coming up with a specific recipe. Got no suggestions on what would fix this. Also, Chipflake suffers a little from "MascotSuit-itus", for lack of a better word. His eyes and face don't change at all (NEVER BLINKING, ALWAYS STARING, ALWAYS JUDGING). And considering you look at Chip throughout the entire game, it's hard not to notice. It would have been a nice touch to have some blinking or mouth movements to give him more life. I would DEFINITELY recommend Super Chipflake Ü to anyone looking for a laid back, warm, and comforting 3D platformer. I cross my fingers we get to see the expansion for the game with enough sales!

Leaving one Review (In GER and ENG) now And one after i finished the game: ENG: The Schnitzelgame has finally arrived and what a blast it has been! So far the game has given me a wonderful time and reminds me a lot of old PC collectathon Games (in the positive sense) The Soundtrack is absolutely fantastic and i love the wonderfully charming dialogue that the various amounts of Cattos bring. This game has been an insane passion project and i really hope more people will get to experience it! So far my only real small gripe is with the audio settings, but that is absolutely a me thing and nothing that breaks the game for me at all! Currently still ''Let's Playing'' the game, so i am curious how the Game will be for me after i finish that. Doubt it will change much, since i do genuinely love it so far! GER: Das Schnitzelspiel ist endlich da! Bis jetzt hatte ich mit dem Spiel unglaublich viel Spaß! Und werd da ständig an alte PC Collectathon Spiele erinnert (Im positiven Sinne) Der Soundtrack is der Hammer und die Charaktere sind blöd spaßig geschrieben. Ich liebe die ganzen verschiedenen Katzenfreunde überall! Das Spiel ist ein absolutes Passion Projekt und ich hoffe echt mehr Leute werden sich den Ruck geben und dieses viel zu coole Spiel erleben! Mal gucken wie ich nachdem Let's Play dazu stehe, aber ich denke so wie es jetzt ist, wird sich nicht viel ändern

Sadly, at launch the wrong version was released but it was quickly fixed and now everyone has the correct version. The game feels REALLY polished, both in terms of gameplay and performance. The game runs at 4K with like 900fps so pretty much everyone should be able to run this game. I really like the dialogues and the general world, this game is a love letter to old collectathons and it really shows! There’s so much side stuff to do besides the main story. Overall great game!
