At 18 hours I finished the first story with over 100,000 credits and never buying a single card. It's a very fun game, what you see is what you get. I'm glad I finally installed this gem from 2016. (I play games in my library in reverse-release order--oldest to newest--that way the games are always finished and the community has plenty of threads.) I can't speak to the rest of the game, yet, only the first "module." What I hate: 1) You don't get to play the decks you want; the game determines what you will play. What I mean is, you have to make a bunch of counter decks and trot those out to beat every foe. Sure, you might make a deck that you really like and you might get to play it half the time. MIGHT. About the only way to get to play it even that much is to keep restarting missions waiting for the perfect draw and to go first. 2) The UI is god-awful: You are constantly clicking for no reason at all. The dialog is written in landscape mode with big bright Nintendo lettering, so that you have to swivel your head (not your eyes) left to right to read it. If you're like me, you won't read it. I am okay with text-based story but I want to read at my own pace, conveniently, not whatever THIS is. There is no way to sort your cards. There is no way to filter your cards. (Such as by type.) There is no way to search your cards. (Such as for keywords.) There is no way to auto-sell when you have more than 4 of a card--although I wouldn't normally complain about that, since the rest is so bad, I will. PS I ran into a few bugs. Twice I had to alt-F4, so pretty serious bugs. But my saves weren't harmed.

Highly recommended! For me, this is one of the better CCGs: - intuitive to pick up, there's quite some variation in cards and effects but nothing crazy (not like some not to be named CCGs that require a 15 page glossary to play) - the mix between combat damage and "hacking points" is brilliant, it avoids that whoever drops the biggest creatures wins and also forces a certain pace in the rounds - the layout is clear and works beautifully - once you get past the initial rounds and have some credits to spend on customizing your deck, it becomes much more interesting and gameplay becomes much more varied; the initial rounds of both campaigns can be tough but a little deck adjustment goes a long way - everything in the game from the story to the artwork, the cards and their effects all fits perfectly with the cyberpunk theme RNG does have a significant impact but there's no penalty for losing a battle and the rounds are quite fast, so it's not that big of a deal. There's the occasional hiccup when the game locks up but for the same reason, this is not a big problem. I would have loved to have a few more campaigns (still need to try the Underworld DLC) but then again, I'm sure I will play though them several times more, trying different decks and approaches. And the arena mode is ideal if you only have a few minutes to kill.
