This game is crafted so well, so well balanced. Risk management is the name of the game and quite honestly it's perfect. Many of the negative reviews are from players who are not ready for a gem like this and have a misconception of how real randomness feels like. Yes you will lose by rat with 2% chance of killing you, but if you play long enough you will also win with a 1% chance and that makes the game super exciting. No one gambles at poker with out some form of risk management...but yet they don't have a hissy fit and quit playing if they lose a hand.
For us us gamers of the Spectrum generation - Its Chaos...get it and love it. Though I admit I got my copy of the original copy of chaos on a free cassette glued to the front of a copy of a Your Sinclair magazine. For those younger, its 4-D chess with magical monsters...enjoy. Would 100% disbelieve your Golden Dragon again.
