ive been enjoying the story so far, but im recommending simply on the disability representation. as someone who has recently become disabled themselves, it makes me emotional how loud AND how subtle their disability rep is. minthie's design in particular was so special to me.
It was good. There were some fairly emotional beats that I really liked. But I think I'm learning that these style of games just aren't for me. If I could have had one ask, it would be for there to be voice actors for the dialogue. Big ask I know, but just reading for hours on end without many conscious decisions for me to make and keep me engaged is a little boring to me. It's still a good story though and work just a casual playthrough.
Love D&D but want a break from being on the frontlines of your adventures? Tavern Talk introduces coziness to the genre with a focus on relationships and character arcs. Help guide adventurers with drinks that influence the fate of their quests and hear how they tell their stories. Great LGBTQ+ rep, beautiful art and music, and easy to play.
Great game, beautiful artwork and soundtrack. It's a little slower in the beginning. It took me a bit over 2 hours to start to feel invested in the story. My only critique is that I really wished there were more options for dialogue as the innkeeper. At points I felt too passive as events unfolded, and would have loved to choose more interactions.
