A neat premise and mostly decent puzzles that are unfortunately hampered by some very obtuse clues/puzzles and questionable design choices. All of the puzzles were simple and obvious in retrospect, but sometimes the in game clues were either not helpful at all or felt like only partial clues until I used the hints system to give it a bit more context. Another issue was that none of the buttons had any reaction to me pressing them and made those puzzles unsatisfying/annoying to solve. Just add a pressing animation or lights or something. On the other hand any puzzle that had me arranging pieces or otherwise manipulating objects was very smooth and responsive and mostly felt good to interact with. TLDR: Decent fairly easy escape room hampered by some questionable design choices. Get it on sale if you like escape rooms.
Overall a nice game with mostly logical puzzles. However, some were confusing even when knowing the solution, such as the cabinets/fire box 4x4 row/column symbols in the guard room that had no logic except for what the dev decided that particular solution should be. In the same guard room was a puzzle which require skills in Rubik's clock puzzles which I hated, 'cause you had to think always many steps ahead. It made me end up looking up the solution online. Not really a game for total beginners but it's a doable challenge with plenty aha moments. A few tips to approach it: It constantly requires you to simply take a still moment and step back of what the puzzle requires of you. And often the solution is best achieved when NOT overthinking. Ggs
I'd recommend this to someone like me, someone who's done all the big Escape Room games and is looking to kill some time. Not recommended for first time or new Escape Room players. I got it on sale for $3 and it was a good few hours. The puzzles don't always make sense, and I had to brute force a few where I couldn't figure it out even with the hint, even using the hint, some of the puzzles are a pretty big stretch to figure out, and one of them even knowing the solution and the hint, I still don't know how the puzzle works so be warned it's not exactly GOTY but a good time killer.
