Thank you, Rusty Lake for releasing such a high-quality game! I've played the previous Rusty Lake games, and I gotta say this one is definitely creepier and darker (there are even some small jump scares!). Loved the graphics and the characters who are wonderfully strange— and that's exactly what we love about them. The lore is very good, and I loved all these little hints from the previous Rusty Lake games. It makes me want to replay them all :) The only thing I could criticize is the sound between chapters, which I found a little louder than it should be.
While the game is AMAZING and I am a die hard fan of all your games, I unfortunately have hand problems due to Multiple Sclerosis. My right hand moves the mouse as I click. I tested the 1st Rusty Lake game to check and I noticed that its a still picture and is not registering my shaky right hand. The problem with this (my problem, the game is awesome if your hand is not affected by MS like me) is that the game's picture can be moved with a click to look left and right, which is a great addition like I said, but unfortunately does not work with people with mobility issues. May I suggest an accessibility setting, that turns the game into still scenes like the previous games please? Thanks for taking the time to read this, your game is AWESOME and the team behind these games as well! PS: Reader, just buy it. The game is awesome. I still suggest it to everyone because I can see that it has the feeling they provide us with in their games. Please listen to me Rusty Lake, I really need to be your disabled servant. The review is of course gonna be positive. But I'm begging you to add that feature as I need to keep playing.
Having loads of fun already, I will say that I encountered a small bug. I quit out the game for a little while and when I came back items from the previous chapter weren't in my inventory. Restarting the chapter or restarting the game didn't work. Ended up having to reinstall the game. Apart from that small hiccup the game is great, just like all the Rusty Lake games. The puzzles are engaging and just difficult enough to not be obvious but also not ridiculously complicated :)) Highly recommend!! edit: finished the game, absolute BANGER
Hands down the best housekeeping simulator on steam rn. The work they put in this game is insane, 100% worth every single penny. The puzzles are very clear compared to their other games. Achievements are easy to get without any help whatsoever. It's exactly what makes a puzzle game fun even for beginners that get introduced into the franchise without any previous knowledge of the lore. I recommend it with my whole heart!
Servant of the Lake was a game I have been looking forward to playing for a long time and it didn't dissappoint. It was my first time playing a game on release day and I had so much fun going through it all blind. Being back at the lake, witnessing all the weirdness and trying to keep up with the housework while trying to solve all the puzzles was quite the journey. Anyone who has played played the previous Rusty Lake games will love this one too!
