Chilla's Art know how to make Japanese horror games very unsettling! The Bathhouse is one of their greatest game, if not The best! Story was compelling, decent spookiness, and fun engaging gameplay. 9.5/10 strongly recommend if you like Indie horrors :D

It's very different from the previous version, but was a fine story, I enjoyed playing it. The jumpscares and creepy parts where nice, but the best was seeing the differences from the previous version.

I didn't wanna buy this game after a friend of mine told me that they thought it was one of chilla's worst games. But then I saw how it was completely remade and decided to give it a try. Now it is my favourite Chilla's art game (it used to be The Closing Shift). The negatives for me were a couple gameplay parts, that of course being the store sorting part which was completely unnecessary and not entertaining in the slightest, the cleaning sequense close to the end that you can later skip to get the other endings and maybe collecting tiles part which I didn't exactly hate but that was the only part in the game that made me pull up a guide. Besides that, to me this game felt the most heartfelt, with coheisive storytelling and nice visuals out of everything Chilla's art put out. The story itself especially, it honestly was so beautiful, not very hard to follow but still having so much fun trying to predict and understand parts of. And then getting to the best ending after seeing that epic dubstep fight scene felt extremely rewarding. I played The Bathhouse with a friend till 5 am and it really feels like we've made a memory that's gonna stay with us forever

In Japan, drinking milk after bathing at an Onsen is a ritual that developed over 50 years ago; the practice originated in Sento, which were public bathhouses commonly used before most households had their own bathtubs.
