Never found myself getting angry or frustrated even when dying over and over again. RPG element can make certain boss fights almost impossible if you don't get the right perks and/or weapons, and the fact that shooting momentarily stops you can be annoying as well. Some weapons are pretty garbage but most have their uses but a few are so good that you can't ignore them. The Doom Gun and the Mega Rail Gun are probably the strongest weapons in the game to the point of being extremely overpowered against bosses when paired with anything that lets you deal more damage or doubles your bullet count. Honestly any gun can become OP with those perks. Some are downright useless without upgrades, or are so useless that upgrading doesn't matter. The enemy variety is big, although there are some that are just reskins or are just stronger counterparts. I like the gameplay loop a lot, the only gripe that I have aside from the fact you can't shoot while aiming is the auto aim. While I would've been cool with it if it was something I could turn off, it's not. Maybe it's because of certain gameplay elements that would have made free aim OP? Not really sure. The HTF DLC is nice, but you're really just paying for skins. It doesn't change any of the "voicelines" outside of the lobby for whatever character you're playing as, but it does change your character's death animation, albeit being only different one for each. I think there are new ones as well as Flippy makes a weird raspy scream I've never heard before. Unless someone can point to where this scream came from I'm gonna assume they added new stuff. Lumpy is kinda annoying but it's to be expected. Flippy/Fliqpy honestly is probably the only character out of all of them that realistically fits in a game like this for obvious reasons. None of the audience members are holding Flippy signs and he isn't in the main menu art which to me is an act of blasphemy. Hope they fix this bug soon. Speaking of bugs, I haven't run into any except for a couple visual bugs with a miniboss and with the auto revive (eyes that are supposed to fall out after death stick to my character's face). It's a pretty clean game all things considered. TL;DR pretty fun game overall, despite its flaws. HTF being in it as a cheap DLC is cool although I wish there was more. I think buying full price is worth it, but if you're skeptical it doesn't hurt to buy it on sale where it's less than $6. You're gonna get a lot of hours out of this game.

The mix of cute characters and extreme violence in The Crackpet Show creates an experience that’s hard to forget, I love the Happy Tree Friends vibe. The roguelike mechanics keep things exciting, with different weapons and power-ups making each playthrough feel fresh. The game runs smoothly on the Steam Deck, but the random upgrades can sometimes feel unfair, especially if you end up with weaker ones during a good run. The art style and soundtrack fit the gameplay perfectly. There's a co-op ability I haven't explored yet, but I imagine it adds an extra layer of fun to the game, you should definitely try it with friends. I highly recommend purchasing this title it's incredibly enjoyable!
