this game is a humiliation ritual if you're playing RANKED, no matter how big your stack or soloqing you are not gonna have a gram of fun since the game doesn't even have enough players to match you with people of your rank, especially when you hit plat. you get matched with other plats, but also, diamonds and rubys...? why? i would very gladly wait for longer queues to get an even match than to get stomped for a 100th time by a ruby stack just because they're bored and looking for blood in the water. people will say its a skill issue, but what do you even learn from playing against such people if you die so fast? some maps need a major overhaul, they are literally crying for help at this point (seoul, kyoto, fortune stadium). also, remove denuvo, ♥♥♥♥ this "anti-cheat" measure. and also, if they actually get proper VOICE ACTORS and not just trained TTS, the feel of the game would be so much less sterile. every time i hear scotty and june i wish i would just chokeslam them like the undertaker. BUT...if you play this game casually (world tour, point break, powershift), its probably one of the best shooters ever. the sandbox is expansive, specializations and classes are unique and creative. the cosmetics, free and paid, are top notch, shooting feels nothing less then prime csgo, its so crisp. if you wanna have fun with this game, which you certainly will, DODGE THE RANKED GAMEMODE. IT'S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.

This game is hit or miss, been playing it since the Open Beta, the Open beta and Season 1-2 were fun, then the game died off and was full of cheaters and the style got overhauled, I quit the game, came back for the Season 4 music, then quit again I came back in Season 6 with some buddies, the issues were gone, still wasn't a fan of the style, then season 7 brought back the Season 2 feel, but nothing has truly brought this game back unlike Season 11, my god, the spacey weird cosmetics that aren't some weird as hell anime looking thing or medieval armor, the 70s-80s music style, the feel of it all, its the design I adore, I would say the music is one of the best if not best of the seasons, up there with 2 and 4, This game may lose players but it never dies.

Battlefield destruction + Team work + Crack + Tiktok Brain Rot = THE FINALS Both the best and worst shooter I've ever played. So unique, you should give it a college try. Try to fight the urge to quit when your team are lobotomites who never played a fps before. But once you find the flow state, there is nothing quite like it.

THE FINALS is a unique team-based FPS which blends arena shooter roots, Titanfall-esque movement, a deep three class team dynamic, and modern gunplay. This blend is set in a virtual reality reality gameshow with a strong visual identity despite its wide-ranging cosmetics and map design. I tried The Finals a few times since its beta in early 2023 before it clicked; it's a highly chaotic game whose unique game modes and sometimes cluttered visuals create a barrier to entry. However, once you click with the game and start to really understand the core modes and class dynamic, alongside utilising the full arsenal of weapons, it's a truly fantastic game. I revisited The Finals to complete a quest in ARC Raiders, but I now realise that Embark are 2 for 2 in creating uniquely great shooters. They are the best developer in the business right now.

I honestly regret not playing this sooner. I usually play hero shooters, Siege or Apex but got bored of those games and went to play Marvel Rivals for a bit, got bored of that once I hit Celestial but someone suggested I play The Finals and man were they right. The movement is good, the combat is good, the skins look good and everything feels well polished, however the queue times in my region are really long and need to be fixed. I'd be happy to play in another region if it auto switched to another or I didn't have to hop in to another server via settings. Additionally I think I should be able to go to the practice area while in a queue, otherwise I'm waiting and have nothing to do.
