As someone who has 6 of the other Jackbox games and play them quite frequently. This is by far my favourite pack. Ususally we only play 1 or 2 games in a given pack, but in this game Every game is replayable, fun, and well designed.

Now that I've played all games with multiple play groups, I think I can safely say this is one of Jackbox's strongest packs in years, if not their best pack to date. The tldr is that every game is fun and polished for those who already enjoy said game genres, and its presentation is absolutely lovely. Lemme get into pack specifics (keep in mind I've exclusively played with friends online via Discord calls): Doominate : While it's not The Best Jackbox writing game, it's really up there. Takes its concept and makes it very fun, its paced perfectly, and has just the right amount of user prompt creation to keep it fresh. Absolutely agree with those who have comparing it to Survive the Internet. Having multiple prompts visible at a time is a godsend QOL choice, and I really hope Jackbox writing games going further keep this change. Love the presentation and my millennial friend groups loved the 90's/early 00's cultural references. Hear Say : Easily the most divisive game of this pack in my groups of shyer/more awkward players. Very impressed with how well this worked in a Discord call, just muting for noise making and unmuting when presenting. Those who like presenting games will enjoy the unique concept I feel, especially when the sounds are being presented with prerecorded footage, and even those going against prompt will get a few good laughs for themselves and others. The minigames feel a bit redundant but I'm sure folks who like the vocal concept won't mind. Keep in mind this WILL test both your comfort levels in presenting/performance and also your throat; for those who enjoy foley and have noisy objects here and there, you'll have your chances to use stuff like instruments or objects if you want to get creative. Cookie Haus : Again, while it's not necessarily The best Jackbox art game, it's a strong showing for its genre!! Mostly in presentation; the cookie decorating concept is cute, its drawing system is stand out and fun, and its color selection and array of stickers and sprinkles keep the core of the game (drawing) fresh. I find it's game cycle a bit lackluster - basically prompt > prompt > fill in the blank > redraw - and I can see the cycle being a reason some would find it feeling stale quicker than the other games in the pack. I think updates to have an optional cycle shuffle and maybe some more cookie shapes would help it stay fresher longer. Suspectives : Easily the best game in the pack for really familiar friends. Normally I'm not one for hidden identity games, but the added layer of a "get to know your players" game in there makes it fun and enjoyable for someone like me as well. While you could play it more straightforward (viewing survey answers, deliberating on those who fit the answer, and then interrogation periods), my friend group that is already familiar with each other played it much laxer/sillier and we really got into "detective" roles while asking our friends to elaborate on the few traits we didn't already know. Lots of laughs to be had for familiar groups Legends of Trivia : As someone who loves Jackbox trivia games, I tend to find they're pretty offputting for those who aren't as confident in their trivia skills. That said, making a collaborative trivia game was a crazy inspired decision. Even those who aren't fans of trivia were willing to try it and had fun! All my friend groups are big on TTRPGs, and really enjoyed the fantasy RPG elements as well as the presentation elements (art, character design, music, ect). The only criticisms my multiple groups had were having one or two categories that they did not enjoy (the image questions and hidden questions for example), which thankfully the multiple routes with multiple mode options make easy to avoid for game groups. Overall, I really adore this pack!! Maybe it's still in its honeymoon phase but I can see at least a couple of games in this pack being as tried and true timeless games for my friend groups as much as games like Job Job and TMP have been.

Another great entry in the series. A slam dunk for 4 of the 5 games Doominate: The latest of the "not quite quiplash" games that are getting really numerous in Jackbox. However, unlike most of the time Doominate does bring some stuff to the table that the OG doesn't. For one the format is quite different instead going for the angle with your submissions are modifying something existing to make it worse or better. And the second one is that it's much more personalized since everyone is choosing 1 of the things on top of it placing an emphasis to input stuff yourself. A solid 8/10 Hear Say: So this unironically a contender for the best Jackbox game period. One of only 2 sound based games in the series at that, and considering the other is the aggressively mediocre Ear Wax, Hear Say doesn't have much competition to worry about. Essentially each round you record a set of sounds via muting yourself (yes, this wins the distinction for being not the only first game to use the microphone, but also the first game to straight up not work in person); then once they're all recorded you vote on which is the funniest. Repeat for 3 rounds. Additionally, there are videos that play after a sound is chosen which put your sounds into a new visual context to hilarious results, and a pre round mini game that uses volume as an input. Both of these can be turned off which is really good because the mini games control awful and would be dragging it down if not for that. But this is consistently one of the funniest games, if not THE funniest game jackbox has come out with. A 9.5/10 Suspectives: A social deduction game from Jackbox... Off to a great start... Jokes aside this is the one people of their own accord asked to play again immediately. And it's pretty good tbh. Here you get asked a bunch of questions at the beginning of the game, then these questions are revealed one by one to everyone. You have to try to figure out whose lying and which of these things are what person would say. If all you care about in jackbox is the socialization and nothing else I can see an argument for being the best game in general. I am not one of those people, but I'd still be willing to put at a 9/10 Cookie Haus: A drawing game with the worst controls known to man and not that great of a concept to begin with. Jackbox has had 2 drawing games released prior with great drawing tools now in Tee KO 2 and Champ'd Up. So why Cookie Haus has such dog shit controls is beyond me. Sprinkles? Aren't a brush instead just dropping a set amount in an area. Undo/Eraser? Eraser isn't here and the undo button only lets you use it once. That nice feature that made line art easy to do while still coloring like a normal actual digital drawing? Sorry, but not here at all. Baffling decisions all around. Even worse, for some reason the cookies are 3d models (despite them always facing front....), and that model is what appears on the website. This causes some of the worst lag known to man for no good upside. Add that to the fact the only humor this game produces is creating bits that won't die in the interim and uh you have a game that's the only dud here Legends of Trivia: Oh boy where do we start with this one. For starters this is NOT a game centered around creating a dnd campaign on the fly. I know it has a art style that is based on dnd but it's completely removed from it otherwise. That would be a fire idea for a jackbox game and they should come back to that but it's irrelevant. Rather it's the 4th attempt at trying to make a normal game within the confines of jackbox, and between it, Dodo Re Mi, and Bomb Corp; Legends of Trivia is the only one I can honestly say people have specifically asked for it on multiple occasions now. In Legends of Trivia's case, it's actually a rogue like. A pretty good one as well actually. Essentially every attack is a trivia question, if you get it right you attack. In its current state, true failure isn't really possible instead opting for a score method. Every campaign has a set number of paths and what those hold, and there 5 or so questions right now, more on these points later. This has two undeniable strengths, it functions even in small groups and people don't need to be actively talking to contribute. A lot of people act like you always have a full party if you're playing jackbox, and it always involves the most sociable people. But if you're actually playing with friends you knew prior that isn't always in the cards, since you know, schedules. So the fact this game completely functions with a party of 3 or 2 does matter a lot to me in particular. And because of the nature of game being cooperative, that means 2 can be yapping while the socially awkward people in the back just sit back. I know that's a strange compliment, but I do think games like this are important. Not everyone I'm playing with is comfortable with being 100% out there. Jackbox isn't a series just catering to socialites, and that should be always remembered before complaining that it's not all about the discussion angle. Now of course, when you do have 5 or 6 players that are all socialites who feel the need to make every second filled with sound, you get a nice recreation of what everyone wanting to be the main character in a co op game looks like. And while this has happened once now in actual testing, this same pack has Hear Say, Doominate, and Suspectives. That situation is more than covered for in this pack, so it's hardly a loss and I'll always support games that fill niches that no other jackbox game can. Now don't get it twisted Legends Of Trivia has a lot problems and WOULD benefit from a sequel, but none of the complaints I hear are good arguments. Really it's just a ton of fine tuning to make the true rogue like on jackbox experience. Like making death cost more and more every time you die, running out of gold and dying means a failed run. Campaigns that vary in length, not fixed campaigns, new items and events. That kind of thing. All in all I'd say for now an 8.5 out of 10 (tho it's closer to 7 if it wasn't being bumped by it's a niche that isn't replaceable)

As a longtime Jackbox fan who wasn't super enamored with the last 2 packs, 11 is just what I'm looking for. If you've fallen off the Jackbox bandwagon, definitely give this one a shot! A brief overview of the games: Doominate - Going to be honest, I wasn't expecting this one to be as funny as it was, but it really had my friends laughing! I'm a Quiplash fan and I thought this wasn't going to be as good, but even people who usually struggle with Quiplash liked this one because the prompts made it a bit more structured. Cookie Haus - Loads of great moments with this one too. The googly eyes, sprinkles, and depth you can get with the frosting made for some great creations. Only problem we had with this one was that some of our phones really struggled to keep up with the cookie decorating--not sure if it's because the cookie decorating technology is more sophisticated than something like Drawful, or a launch-day server issue. But the game itself was loads of fun. Hearsay - The absolute star of the pack for us. Our friend group loves to make dumb noises and do silly voices, so this one was nonstop laughs. Legends of Trivia - A great concept that was also a lot of fun. My only criticism is that at times it seemed pretty slow-paced, but a lot of the slowness was because of the tutorial elements (which were necessary and helpful). I'm excited to revisit this one and see if that speeds it up. There might be settings that help make it a bit faster, too, that I've missed. But it was a nice twist that the trivia was co-op, and I definitely see myself revisiting this with my more trivia-focused friends. Suspectives - Another big standout from this pack. Truth be told, I'm a big fan of hidden role games, but I haven't always loved the ones Jackbox has put out--except this one! The survey format makes it easy to understand and also turns it into a game of how well your friends know you in real life, not just your tells, while being friendly for remote groups (unlike the somewhat similar Fakin' It). Overall, a really excellent pack. Looking forward to playing more of it!
