The negative reviews had me thinking this was a worse game than it actually turned out to be. the pacing isn't great, and it takes you out of the immersion the further into the game you get, but i've been having a fun time playing it regardless. It took me 3 hours to complete the "main quest", and the rest is mostly achievement hunting and unlocking more dogs. The graphics are nice and the dogs are cute but the core "story" of the game isn't long enough to justify $25 dollars imo. Also, Steam says controllers are incompatible, but the only way I COULD play was with a controller, and the game's UI was definitely built with controllers in mind. If you like dogs and simple survival games, this is a good buy. It's a fun, relaxing game that isn't too challenging and mostly about resource management after you complete the main quest. Still, I'd wait for it to go on sale considering the lack of content/how repetitive things get.

Very cute game, in a compact form (2-3 hours to "finish" it). Manage your dog sled, improve upon your run, reach the cabin... seems easy enough but you should expect a few failures on the way. Gameplay is similar to Oregon Trail (random events on the way, different paths to reach your goal, small skill based moments like hunting and fishing to keep yourself fed) and every run you have a chance of making your next run a little easier for yourself if you fail. Would recommend as a small story about working through fear and adversity.

-BE WARNED YOU WILL HAVE A VERY DIFFICULT IF NOT LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TIME GETTING ALL THE ACHIEVEMENTS- the graphics are good, scenery is amazing, and i'd die for my dogs. Especially Igloo i love her dearly Devs PLEASE add some sort of way to mute voicelines it'd be so nice. Also please update your game to fix the RNG PLSPLSPLSPLS i have attempted 3 different runs to complete the journal my sanity has crumbled i just want to complete the journal pelase please please i'll do anything

Wow I love that game, It's really cozy even tho there is some survival mechanics. The rogelite (I think) elements are veru enjoyable and of course all of our pups are super cute!! Perfect to play in the cold winter of the True North. I would recommend for any dog lover AND snow lover, the landscapes are beautiful and it also runs really well on my computer.
