Last time i played this game I was young and didn't want to sacrifice anything. I never beat the game cause I couldn't stand not having the best outcome. Maybe now that I've experienced more life I should try it again. The more color you take, and spread the more pretty, but hostile the world becomes and you cannot save everyone.
The Void from the same minds behind Pathologic isn’t just a game… it’s straight up art that happens to be playable. Nothing about it is normal. The mechanics, the way you interact with the world, even the logic behind what you’re doing, it all feels alien on purpose. You’re not just “playing”, you’re trying to understand something that doesn’t want to be understood easily. The visuals, the atmosphere, the whole concept of color as life… it’s weird, uncomfortable, and kind of hypnotic. It doesn’t care if you’re having fun in a traditional sense, it just pulls you into its own rules and leaves you there. It’s confusing, sometimes frustrating, but also unique. There’s nothing else quite like it. Not for everyone, it is very abstract and unique, but if it clicks, it clicks. 9/10, this is art disguised as a game.
Reviewing games I played a long time ago: This is among some of the most weird and unique games I have ever played, but can I recomend it...? I mean I didn't really enjoy it and never bothered finishing it, but, like I said it's unique and there's nothing quite like it, so it gets my seal of approval if only for that. Maybe I should try to take another go at it.
