Potential is the word with Tiny & Big. This game is built around physical puzzles using a laser cutter, and it's both a great idea and executed perfectly - at least mechanically. It's not without its frustrations, however, and a few more tools (mainly ones centered around mobility and fall safety) could've given this game a truly complete loadout. The rough edges of Tiny & Big are mostly in trying to yank blocks, or make difficult to predict jumps under risk of tedious restarts. If you're interested in buying it, make sure you're not prone to agitation when struggling against game physics.
This is a amazing physic based platformer! Had this game sitting on the back burner of library for years! Short game only 2 hour I tried getting every collectibles but funny enough you have this physic based abilities like cutting boulders in half that knocks off collectibles right into you or off the map. You have a grapple hook to grabs boulders that are still not currently swing or falling! Then last ability my favorite a rocket to push things fast! You can ride things I assume that would be too much cheating in the game or cheese it to fast! Goofy story more like a running joke but still love it! 7/10 game!
Really cool and ambitious comedic game. Everything is built around your gadgets and physics. On each level, you have a specific goal that you need to achieve, and you can reach it in pretty much any way you can think of. You have complete freedom. Of course, it is not Minecraft, and you are still limited by what your gadgets can do, as well as by the physical objects available in the environment. But you have a huge amount of creative freedom, and that is basically the entire game. Another indie game of its time that was incredibly ambitious for its era. It is a shame that the gaming industry is so afraid of experimentation. I would love to play something similar with a bigger budget and a completely open world. The humor is hit or miss, but the overall Adventure Time-esk art style really warms my heart. I recommend it to everyone who enjoys experimental puzzle games.
