"I came for the memes, stayed for the mechanics." Let me just start by saying this: Toasterball is absolute, unfiltered chaos in the best way possible. You’re a toaster. You yeet yourself around an arena. You smack a ball with your spring-loaded bread flaps. What’s not to love? At first glance, this game seems like a joke—like someone dared a developer to make Rocket League but with toasters. But beneath the absurd concept is a legitimately tight, competitive sports game that’s easy to pick up and devilishly hard to master. The controls are intentionally weird (because, y'know, you're a toaster), but once they click, the game becomes an intense battle of timing, reflexes, and surprisingly deep strategy. Now let’s talk variants. There are 50+ of them and they change everything. One moment you're playing regular toaster-soccer, and the next your toaster is flipping upside down while lava rises from the floor and the ball has turned into a beach ball that floats like a balloon. It's hilarious, frustrating, and amazing all at once. The randomness can be wild, but it never feels unfair—it just keeps things fresh. The art style is charming and clean, the sound effects are crisp and satisfying, and the physics engine does a great job of making every hit, bounce, and flop feel just right. Playing in local co-op is a blast, especially if you’ve got friends over. Online play would be a dream (fingers crossed for future updates), but even as it stands, this is one of the most fun couch multiplayer games I’ve played in a while. Pros: Ridiculously fun and chaotic gameplay Tons of variants to keep things spicy Hilarious concept that actually works Surprisingly skill-based Great for parties or casual couch gaming Cons: No online multiplayer (yet?) Some variants can get too wild, but that’s kind of the point If you enjoy party games Toasterball deserves a spot in your library. It's weird, it's wonderful, and it’s the most fun I’ve had playing as a kitchen appliance. Final Verdict: Bread has never been this deadly. 10/10 would launch myself across a lava pit again.

absolutely peak. the only issue is a lack of built in online multiplayer, but as the devs have stated, that will not be coming.

I just had a 16 player Toasterball tournament this weekend. No one had played the game before. Everyone was literally jumping up and down screaming that they were having so much fun. Best ten bucks I have ever spent.
