Iā€™d known about the ToHeart series for ages, but it was FUWAMOCO, true VN enthusiasts who call the original their all-time favorite, that got me genuinely interested in reading it and trying out the remake. It far surpassed my expectations. The nostalgic setting and atmosphere, excellent voice acting and OST, and well-written characters all drew me in. Sometimes, you just want to enjoy a comfy, heartwarming school life story.

Not the generation that know this but 3D Visual Novel concept is pretty interesting to me i am suprised nobody does it afaik until now. Pretty cheap too.

Premium remaster at an affordable price. Its a no-brainer! Here's hoping for ToHeart 2 and Comic Party one day.

I played through a route and a half of the original ToHeart (97) a few years back. You can tell that some corners were cut here. A somewhat unreasonable amount of "black" scenes, legacy voices not always 100% lining up with the script, spelling/grammar errors, some slightly jarring animations. Personally I'm also not a fan of the reworked OST. But despite that, the 25$ (CDN) price tag makes this all very forgiving, and it hasn't ruined the experience so far. I quite like the 3d element they went for, even if the original 97 art style is the undisputed winner (PSE style be damned). One downside to 3d is that it kind of locks out those with lower end pcs from playing. Would be nice if they had some sort of minimal mode with a 2d cg and 3d models of the girls to help those with low spec systems. Overall so far this is an excellent way for those interested in the series to experience it. And if you're unfamiliar with ToHeart, I highly suggest at least playing the demo to try it out. It's a very simple but cozy slice of life VN with lots of routes to choose from.

Even though i wasn't born when this game was made,i feel nostalgic when i play it It's that haunting little ache for a life you didn't live,a person you never met,a connection that will never happen but somehow feels real it's the yearning for something so...Plausible,yet seems so impossible given the odds 10/10
