I really like this game, I’m still learning how to drive the locomotives but I’ve got a good grip on things for the most part so far. I wanna work for the railroad in the future so this is a very helpful simulator to give you a little bit of experience haha. I wish this game had multiplayer. You could hop in as an engineer and sit beside some one as the conductor, talk to other players over a radio. It would be awesome! I really like this game though, the DLC is a bit pricey but it’s okay. If you like simulators I recommend this game. And the training missions are very good for beginners like me because they are SO descriptive on what to do.

Base game without extensive amounts of DLCs (which cost an excessive amount for minimal map content) can become very boring and monotonous. With DLCs, you can have bundles more fun but again, they're expensive and the game studio must be rolling around a comedically large vault of money. 6.7/10 I reckon.

I like the game, I think it's really fun. My main gripe with it though is the fact that DLC is REQUIRED. DO NOT BUY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SHAVE OUT 40 BUCKS FOR ONE DLC. I bought the German railway DLC and thought there'd be at least some more routes for me to choose. Nope, granted there are a lot of routes in just the one DLC that I did get, but I'm not sure about other DLCs. If you buy JUST the game with NO DLC, you get the tutorial and that's it. Nothing else. I hate it when games lure you in with kinda cheap game and then give you nothing unless you buy their extremely overpriced DLC. This is pretty much just me ranting about DLC, I hate DLC, DLC shouldn't exist.
