If you're looking for a simple train simulator made by a passionate developer, especially if you're also studying Japanese or simply enjoy hearing the language, I cannot recommend this game enough.

this game shows how you could blend a mixture of both Japanese and western style train sims together. unlike some other JP train sims (like the official JR east Train sim) it's not just a video that was shot in the cab of a train/loco controlled by you making it look like you are "Driving" it. You actually move a 3D train around a fictitious railway in japan. and with a update you could walk around by foot, like the TSW Series. the game is done by a former railway worker, and mimics to a T how the Japanese operate their trains. from stopping all stations to limited expresses. with their safety systems and shows you how to operate a train. another thing I love about this game is conductor mode, Having 13 years experience working/volunteering on the heritage railway circuit. it makes me feel extremely happy, you get to do the other important side of operating trains, which is basically opening doors, closing doors, doing announcements and most importantly telling trains that it's safe to depart. there's also some good customising options included. at the time of review, we had trains running between Tatehama Station to Akayamacho Station a good 20mins express/roughly 45min/1hr stopping service worth of gameplay it's updated regularly, and the updates are pretty regular for AU$24.95, this game is well worth the price tag.
