If you want a game that will take your focus off the stress of everyday life without drinking or drugs, this is the game for you. Because you have to put all of your working brain cells to make this game work. You stop paying attention for one second, train crashes. You wanna pull your hair out and yet you feel a bit more relaxed at the end of it. Wish the other train valleys was like this game
Nice game, pretty relaxing, though I wish junctions were explained a little bit better in the game, what is possible and what is not. I guess you could try it all out in sandbox by yourself to figure it out. It's fun for a few hours, but afterwards you want more from the game, you are basically working as a dispatcher for trains making sure that the tracks are well connected between stations and the trains don't collide with each other. With each chapter it gets more challenging: tighter spaces, less money to work with, there is a level where you have to basically wait for trains to come into the station so you can receive money to build tracks to the other station. Some maps require you to request the train, because without requests you will go bankrupt (there is an annual fee in the game, and the time flows really fast, so the annual is like 5 seconds on 4x speed and trains usually don't reach the far out stations so you can go bankrupt easily). Each chapter gives you different scenery, different music. Music is alright, just fitting for the game. Relaxing game with a little bit of thinking required, but nothing too hard. But this game feels lacking after you are done with it, perhaps the sequel is better, so I am going to try it out.
