It takes a bit of time to get the hang of the game mechanics, but as soon as I grasped it, it was very addictive. Be ready to punish these greedy humans from time to time :D There are some challenging achievements which required to go rather focused through a 60 min session, but these were totally doable.
I'm pretty sure I picked this one up inauspiciously in an indie bundle in 2013, and despite having 1000+ games in my collection, I somehow keep coming back to it 13 years later. The art style is charming, and the gameplay hits that sweet spot of being just accessible enough to pick up, but with plenty of room for optimizing for a challenge. The action is tame enough that the game is a fairly cozy play, especially with the pause. The rogue-like progression is a nice ladder that forces you to learn new combos and give you a reason to keep coming back. Progress may seem slow if you don't understand what you're trying to do, but if you enjoy slower paced games, this one is a classic.

I saw this game at my mom's when I was a toddler! I really liked it back then! And the stress reliever part is just fantastic! After work, you come home, sit down, and play this game with cookies and hot tea or cocoa! But not everyone might like this gameplay! It's an acquired taste!
