My Winter Train Nothing to add after refund hours :) Inperfect Early Access game with some heavy lags on world loading, badly looped sounds, overall "non-rich" look. But it has atmosphere, attention to details and love behind this grey world. Worth it!

This is good fun. I am retired and play A LOT of video games. Most of them very complex and I get burnt out. This is the perfect game to sit back after a mind numbing joint and fly down the rails. I hope this project stays on track. heh. Please add more stuff.

Update: Just finished the game. All in all, it wasn't bad. Not great, but not terrible. A huge time killer for sure but after the first few hours of play, most of it is just watching scenery go by for several minutes at a time only to be paused along the way by very similar tasks at each stop, only two involving the train you're driving and again, that's early in the game. Has huge potential but with the new EA games, "Pay me now for something reasonable later" gimmick, I get the energy this could be one of those. I'll keep it installed for a little while and see what the developer does, if anything then delete it. (I don't have time nor inclination to chase people around for info on Discord) In it's current state and for the asking price, i would rate it about a 5 of 10. Haven't made it to the end yet (15hrs) but this is a unique game. Trains and Bad guys ? Absolutely. A relaxing play style meandering thru the Siberian tundra with moments of stopping, getting out and shooting something. Deer, bear, wolves & people. Jump back in a go a bit further to another exciting event. It's all in Russian but it's translated for you. Took a minute to get the hang of all the buttons, levers and switches but really wasn't that hard after going through the tutorial (Twice). Now I'm blowing through electrical dead zones at 70kmh. Looking forward to learning more about fixing it and maybe even running cargo eventually. My trains on fire at the moment but it's still chugging along. Still trying to figure out how to put it out. Keeps me warm since all my windows have been shot out. It's been worth the $20 and am looking forward to more updates.

Honestly, this is a great game to chill and enjoy, while still having moments of action and strategy. My only gripe with the game is that there isn't an external storage for train parts. I don't often carry any on me and replace each part when it gets to about 30% and below. But I ended up having to clear an entire station that happened to have a hangar near by, and seeing the opportunity, decided to see how bad the train is and replaced what needed to be replaced. I ended up carrying a good bit and decided to basically just do maintenance on everything, but I couldn't carry the scrap parts and am having to decide on if i should drop the extra parts for the things that will need replacing in the near future or just leave the junk on the side of the track since I can't sell it to the scrap yard next door because the NPC there would try to kill me and I'd have to kill him... All I ask is for a small locker that can hold at least 10 to 15 items so I would be able to store anything I don't need to have in my inventory immediately.
