Physics & Flight Feel Realism: Strong TRYP's flight physics strike a solid balance between fun and realistic. The feel of the quad in the air is fluid and dynamic, with believable momentum, inertia, and air resistance. 1. Throttle & Weight Simulation Strength: The simulator does a good job modeling throttle response and gravity. Quads fall with convincing acceleration, and throttle control feels tight and responsive. 2. Aerodynamics & Drag TRYP includes a nuanced take on drag and air resistance, especially when diving buildings or doing powerloops. The quad slows down realistically when pitching up or hitting wind resistance mid-maneuver. 3. Propwash Handling Propwash—turbulent air re-entered by the propellers during hard descents or quick reversals—is present and reasonably well-modeled. You’ll notice it during split-S maneuvers or when recovering from abrupt throttle chops, which adds training value for real-life stick time. 4. Stick Input Response Input-to-action latency is low and snappy, provided your system and controller are well calibrated. Rates and expo behave as expected, and TRYP supports full Betaflight-style rate customization. If you’re used to simulators like Liftoff or Velocidrone, you'll find it easy to tune the feel to your preference. Best i have tried so far, moving away from all other sims for this one ..

Got this sim and paired with a Radiomaster Pocket as an entry into the world of FPV. I need to preface this review by stating the tutorial is bad. physics don't match the physics ingame and the challenges are vague and unhelpful. I started with absolutely no experience and complete beginners with poor coordination and/or little experience with a controller may be completely turned off by the tutorial. With that out the way, I'm amazed at how quickly I went from garbage to decent in just 2 hours by running races and setting personal challenges in free mode. The game is beautiful, and has a good variety of maps ranging from very small to very large. I can't speak to the realism of the physics as I haven't used a real drone yet.

Stunning graphics and good physics, but only really caters for 5in and 7in quads. No micro quads or even 3in/4in.

I just bought myself an Avata 2 and the FPV 3 controller so wanted to check out the sim scene for practice, TRYP has been so much fun to both learn, and to just play as a game. I love flying around the mountains and buildings making up lines and familiarising myself with the FPV experience, it's actually incredible how it goes from wtf I'll never get this, to omg it actually works a few hours later. I've practiced with all the styles and think I'm a mode 3 boy, right stick throttle feels intuative to me and I've had lots of sessions just enjoying the beautiful graphics and music choice of this game. I do wish the avata 2 was a selectable drone but the custom drone creator seems comprehensive enough that you could program it in yourself, I'm just not yet familiar with what I should enter to replicate that experience. I slightly worry I've spoiled myself getting acustomed to a 5" freestyle drone and now my real avata will feel super slow haha. Regardless, this is a great game that I'm sure lots of people would enjoy sitting and watching you play due to the awesome environments.

Good sim. Fun, replayable, engaging and physics is ok, once you get to know how tunning works, with all physics options. What I'd like to see in this game is more parts from real manufacturers, like Liftoff has. Additionally, for scenarios it'd be good to have otional countdown timer for start, because now it gets too sudden and you make mistakes in initial controls, just to catch up in good time with subjects.
