This game felt like a warm cup of tea on a cold day! ♡ It's a point and click game where you play as Traveller, a forest spirit, exploring the forest, meeting different animals, helping them with some troubles they have and solving puzzles. We get to help them prepare for winter! I honestly really enjoyed the puzzles. At the beginning, it can be a bit confusing, but once you understand what the game wants you to do and look for, you eventually get the hang of it. I also really liked the notebook you bring with you, which gradually fills up with sketches and notes from your journey, and some of the things the Traveller writes down in it can even help you piece together certain puzzles. There’s no voice acting, but honestly, I never felt like the game needed it. The animals communicate through little speech bubbles, and they also make little noises when you interact with them. I genuinely lost count of how many times I went “aww” while playing! The music is a 10/10 for me. It’s so adorable and incredibly relaxing. And you get to make tea for yourself and for the animals! 🍵 Honestly, my only complaint is how short it is. I really didn't want it to end, and I definitely squeezed every bit out of it by looking in every corner because of how beautiful it is. This is such a breath of fresh air. It's beautiful, charming, cozy, relaxing and chill. The art style, characters and puzzles are perfect. I will play this more than once as it's one of my absolute favorite games. I sincerely hope that there will be more like this in the future. One for every season would be lovely.
Honestly, I think this game it pretty clear case, that in our time games still could be with a kindness of soul! I hope, everyone, whom will try this game, immediately appreciate lovely art and cute lore. Fun fact, that lore was created by Ukrainian writer, so, if you like this game, definitely you will like her books. However, this is my recommendation for all people, who want again turn out to be naivety of childhood harmony in their petrified adult bodies.
What a beautiful game. Point and click which allows you to use a controller. You drag and drop to combine items and solve little puzzles based on pattern matching and observation as you wander about each of the chapters helping the forest creatures prepare for winter. You get a journal which will help you along and there's a hint system for some puzzles if you're stuck. Obviously designed to sit down with over an afternoon or an evening, maybe two or three hours for a first time play through and depending on how much you linger over the gorgeous storybook art, Just a wholesome hand drawn game where everything combines to create a little world to escape into.
