While being a step down from Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion in my opinion, it was still just as funny to play. It still kept the ridiculous premise and dialog. It's a bit longer to 100% than the last game and also a bit more difficult due to being a Rogue-like with some fun challenging boss fights.
Okay so despite the name being not nearly as good as the first I do love the idea that Turinp Boy's crimes keep getting worse over the games and I really hope if we ever get a third installment it'll be something like “Turnip Boy Commits War Crimes.” I like that they decided to do something different for this game instead of just improving the old formula. I haven't played many rogue-likes due to them typically being too difficult for me but this one was thankfully not too hard! It's also just as funny as the first game and there were some really memorable moments throughout! Heavily recommended! I mean you play as a cartoon turnip with a gun! That is more than worth the asking price!
!SPOILERS AHEAD! All that I can say is - this is an awesome game. I've been a fan of Turnip Boy for a long time now and still remember buyng this game 2 years ago, now that I came back to finish it I could still feel the same happiness I felt when I started playing this game and the first one aswell. Good gameplay, Awesome design, funny dialogues and events and overall very interesting lore that isnt too hard to learn. My only complaint is that after you beat the game and complete all the side quests, (which either there isnt too many or some just take like 30 seconds) there isnt much to do other than raiding the bank again and again to earn more money that you cant spend. Also I feel like the final boss could have been a bit more challenging rather than just having to run and dodge attacks, having to use Don Turnipchinos gun to fight back would be a great addition to the difficulty scale and a nice blend into the story of TB himself. Also forgot to mention the music in this game SLAPS! I've always loved the sound tracks from this series especially the ones you get when the credits roll in. I hope we get a third game of Turnip Boy since I both cant accept letting go of this series and I want some more answers to the questions I have about the secrets of this story even tho lots of them were asnwered in this game which i really like. Overall this is really worth the price if you are a rouguelike fan and love Turnip Boy as much as I do❤️
Compared to Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion, this game goes at a much faster pace gameplay wise! The controls can take a moment to get used to if you're just coming off of the first game, but they're still nothing too difficult to learn. The humor is still there, and the artstyle is as cute as ever! I will say that once you beat the game, there..Isn't much else to do afterwards. Additionally, money does eventually hit a point where it serves no purpose other than to make a number go up on your screen. However, the soundtrack for this game is still a plus to go along with the rest! Overall, a fun game that I can recommend to people looking for a quick experience in bank robbery~!
