The game is super cute and fun but has several ways it could be improved - first and foremost, have players be able to look at their own stuff and plan their turns while someone else is going. Eg, not be forced to look at someone else's screen and turn, but instead be able to plan your own (ideal would be to be able to play simultaneously so it won't take 4 hours to play a game). Secondarily, the scoring screen should be able to be clicked through, or at the very least sped up - dude talks at 0.25x speed.

I already love it, but it would be a nice addition for save/continue feature for local games at least.

Walk of Life What an outstanding lovely game. We start it, we enjoy it. We wanna play more, we find friends/family and we play more. - Then we wanna play even more and we think about it here and there during the day... Its a beautifull crafted game with good game mechanics and balance making it a blast to slowly discover game after games and get better at our strategies. Strangely enough, my 6 years old daugter (even tho slighlty lost a times) acually love it :) so we couch play it together on the tv. The + : + Easy to understand > Harder to master + Family friendly + Each sessions are small around 45 to 60 minutes with 3 players (very manageable) for the small sessions and can stretch to a few hours for longer games (you choose how many "weeks" the game go on for) + It has a Continue last game option making longer gameplay possible + Beautifull comic artstyle that makes the kid laugh and the adult smile + LOTS of replayability with different quests/jobs/life goals making each game feels "too short" as you wanted more time to get your stuff together :) + A Roadmap of upcoming features + Can be played with 6 different controllers without issues but can also be played with only one controller and pass the controller around to other friends making it super easy to play on tv with limited hardware + Has Active Display detection making it a breeze to switch it to any screen you want easily (as someone who has Surround + 4k TV, this is golden for a small dev teams and i LOVE THEM for doing it good and making it so easy for me to manage where to game open without any single issues) + Has active discord with news rolling out often making the wait for the next feature drop hyped up The - : - No Gameslot saves : I'd love to start a long 50 weeks game with wifey and a medium or shorter one with kids. Its possible as is but requires manual explorer files manipulations :( not ideal - The music can become slightly repetitive at times, more soundtrack would be great but easily manageable - No other major flaws so far All in all, a great upgrade from their No Time To relax first Opus and an easy recommendation to people looking for a chill very fun couch or online time with their friends/family and definitely a strong plus if you like pc board game as this one feels like a polished boardgame with literally hours of fun im 8 hours with roughly 10 sessions played and i honestly feel like i barely scratched the surface on the strategy gameplay :) A thumbs up for me <3

I looooovvveee this game. It's like stickman rpg and game of life had a baby and it's so much fun! Play with friends or alone, still fun Feedback for Devs: It'd be nice if you could save and come back to the game later. My friends and I really want to finish a 50 turn game together but getting a full game in takes more time then we can typically commit in one sitting

I loved No Time to Relax and have been obsessed with this game's demo. I'm pleased to report the full game holds up, even in early access. It's just as fun but there's so much more to do and more ways to diversify how you play, making it way more replay-friendly than NTtR. They also added some MUCH-needed quality of life updates, like the pawn shop and a cheaper (but understandably crappier) fridge, a pawn shop for cheaper furniture, and a park to help you meet needs for free. The random chance events feel more tied to the main game, too, and less arbitrary, which is a small bonus but one I want to call out. I do have one major criticism though and that is the utter lack of hover tooltips. Most traits, attributes, and other vital UI and menu information is only depicted with icons and hovering over them does not give you any more information (e.g. job perks at the job office, traits acquired from bonus(?) degrees--see this is what I mean, I don't even know what to call those certificates with traits--in the Academy), which I would call a full-blown accessibility issue. Even things you can hover over, like traits and items in your menu, sometimes haven't even been named yet (e.g. I found a job trait called "No translation found for 'trait_job_mall_T1_title' in base", which I assume is a bug). I know this is early access so I expect some rough edges but I sincerely hope this becomes a priority for the dev team to resolve. It doesn't break the game, necessarily, but it makes it orders of magnitude more confusing and frustrating to play. I also kind of miss being able to middle-click to pull up my inventory, but that's comparatively small potatoes. Finally, I miss the marathon mode! I get that it'd be harder to translate to this game since there's no way to permanently max out attributes, but maybe there could be some other kind of endgame, like meeting all of your role's goals? Only playing against one CPU opponent is also kind of disappointing. I wish it was more like Mario Party, where I could choose how many CPU players there and their avatars. Assuming hover tooltips and better descriptions for everything is in the pipeline, Walk of Life is fixing to be No Time to Relax's superior successor. But non-superfans might want to wait for the fully polished release before investing their money.
