Difficult Achievement(s): No. Intro We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip is a short co-op first-person puzzle game where communication and strategy are the key. You need to pass 3+1 levels to finish everything. Pros: - Experience the levels as a whole despite being separated from your friends - Three levels with different ways to solve, with communication still being the key - Different rewards based on your performance Cons: - Reseting puzzles can take a while Specs AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 16GB RAM, AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT Should you play this game? If you want to play a co-op game where communication is key, this game is for you. In-Depth Review The Game Gameplay We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip is a co-op 3D puzzle game. Played in first person, it can only be played with two people, no more, no less. You'll face 3+1 trials with different rules, all of which require you to communicate well with your partner. The first one relies on you communicating quickly and precisely, the second one relies on you communicating for a win/win solution and mathematical thinking, and the third one relies on you communicating with blind trust... or experience. On the visuals side, I must say that I was quite impressed. Coming from the first game, the differences feel like night and day. I kept on thinking how it would be nice if this were a VR game, so I can experience it in first person, especially since you'll ride a boat that feels like It's a Small World attraction in the theme parks. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3361709000 While the first [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/582500/We_Were_Here/] We Were Here ([url=https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198132503739/recommended/582500]my review ) divides the game into two roles, this game doesn't do that. Sure, you might get split up and forced to solve half of the puzzle, but each trial is isolated, meaning that all clues available in the room you are in will be used solely for this trial. Moreover, unlike the first game, both parties will feel the joy of solving the puzzles. The puzzles are either connected, with each person solving a different set of puzzles, or the game will allow you to switch roles as you play. This also means that the game can be completed in one sitting without you having to replay the game again to experience the other side's gameplay. The trials can be stopped anytime you want. There is a bare minimum score, of course, but the game has a bronze, silver, and gold score that corresponds to which ticket you get. You can continue on the next trial after getting the bronze ticket, although if you want more challenge, you can aim for gold instead. Personally, I found it more fun to get the gold score in each trial; it's more challenging, but it feels satisfying when you finish it. Plus, in the last trial, you'll miss out on a lot if you don't try to aim for gold, since that means you'll skip some puzzles. You're playing the game for the puzzles, so why are you skipping them anyway? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3457123038 Once you finish all trials, the game will score you based on your performance. However, I found it weird that the game gives me the worst rating despite me completing all trials in gold marks. I assumed that's because I wasn't using the in-game microphone due to my PC not having it, which forces me to switch to Discord as an alternative for communication. Length and Difficulty That being said, the game is very short. One playthrough took me 2.3h, and that's after getting a gold score on everything. The game can be easy or difficult depending on how well your communication skills are and how well your partner is doing their job. Technically, one person can carry most of the game with minimal guidance on most puzzles, so casual players should be able to enjoy it as well. Conclusion Still using the same concept as the first game, We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip still manages to make the concept refreshing and not boring. It feels that the game was shorter than the first one, which is probably true due to the scoring system making the game last longer. The difficulty can be adjusted depending on your partner's skills, as long as you don't mind getting all achievements, and even though you'll end up experiencing fewer "puzzles" that way, you'll still feel the joy of solving the puzzles. I could recommend it if you like puzzle games that require cooperation between two people to finish.

It's a very fun game ;) 1st location = we laughed for a very long time )) 2nd = you need to think a little + the random factor. 3rd = timing + teamwork. Addition: we passed the game for 3/3 gold. P.S. = Many people may have an "error" with connecting to servers at the very beginning - it's extremely simple to fix: all you need to do is - in the game settings, "change server", most of it is working properly, and a large ping will not particularly affect the gameplay.

It was such a fun game. My friend and I had fun playing it, and we actually managed to finish it (thanks mostly to him, I was relying on him most of the time lol). This game made me realize how patient he really is and he communicates so well even when I was messing things up. Lucky me 🤣 If you just want a co-op game that makes you laugh, sweat a little, and trust your partner a little more, this one's perfect. It's short, chaotic, and surprisingly wholesome. A good pick for friends, duos, and people who don't mind exposing how bad they are at puzzles 🤣

This game is a fun time waster, I spent the most time being high in game and listening to my friend guiding me to my death...
