Just an utterly delightful game! It is quick to pick up, but hard to put down. It isn't a long game, but there's enough content here to entertain you for 20 or so hours playing through all the stories and trying to get the achievements. And it is just a fun experience. It's a dang shame that the developer hasn't made more games, but they struck gold in the Old West with this one.

A great condensed open world game. It's such a genius premise, where you have to help people across the west in order to learn clues that will help you track down your family's murderer. The game goes as far as it can with this premise. Hats are used as your health, and you can even shoot off people's hats to heal yourself. You can talk to strangers to learn more information, or you can hold them at gunpoint, or you can simply walk away. There are plenty of missions to complete, but it's possible to botch certain missions if you're not careful with your actions, which gives everything stakes. It's a solid package.

Every spaghetti western you’ve ever loved got stuffed into a pixelated shotgun and fired straight into your computer. I had no idea this game would be this good. The pixel art is charming, the gameplay is snappy, and the fact that you can accuse anyone of murder including even your own mother is hilarious! It’s got mystery, revenge, duels at high noon, and a whole lotta cowboy nonsense. One minute you’re wrangling hats off bandits, the next you’re threatening a horse with a gun because it blinked at you funny. There are tons of side quests and different approaches and endings to each one, which makes every playthrough feel fresh. The game’s got some annoying bugs, but nothing that'll ruin your run. The freedom to kill or spare, accuse or forgive, shoot & reload is all yours. The story is simple, but extremely replayable. Give Westerado a Try!

This game is never far from my mind even after all these years. So much replay-ability through different missions, stories, characters. The solution to the central mystery being randomised every time. An absolute recommend.

The gentleman's Red Dead Redemption. An awesome Western with a ton of replayability and freedom of choice, in an open world full of flavor. Buy this before the stupid a55h0les at Warner Bros remove it
