HOLY. FETCH QUEST. Play this to enjoy a pleasantly fleshed out world with stylish visuals, decent combat and excellent ARPG mechanics (e.g. armor augmentations, weapons of different kinds, a crazy variety of magical skills to build your archetype with, and a generally neat little approach to storytelling. Don't play this if you're even slightly allergic to fetch quests. I'm on one of the concluding quests of the game, and I have to fetch now a leaf...so that an alchemist can make a potion...which somehow gives me access to a mythical cave...where I can find 1 out of the 3 shadows of some antagonistic character....of whom I must defeat all 3....to save the world. Ugh. Absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quest design. But decent everything else.
