The first 5-7 hours of the main game is well-paced puzzle-solving action with some great music and the lightest touch of wholesome storytelling. That alone is worth the fifteen bucks. But the real secret sauce is New Game+, in which every puzzle from the main game (plus many extra puzzles) are all mixed together in one giant chain of never ending packages. It took me about 15 hours of sorting through pieces on the expanded New Game+ carpet to get through it all, and it was absolutely thrilling. This game made me fall in love with puzzles in a way normal jigsaws never could. It also got me through a hard couple of weeks in real life. I think the devs have made something really special here, and I hope they keep iterating on it with whatever they make next.

This is a fantastic puzzle game that I would recommend to any jigsaw enthusiasts out there. Solve a series of tile puzzles in a nonlinear order, so you're never quite sure which pieces might belong together. Like its predecessor, Wilmot's Warehouse, the well-crafted controls allow for a seamless experience. I also appreciated the lack of time pressure in this game. Runs great on Steam Deck.

what it sets out to do, it does very well. it's a chill and satisfying game to the max. the only criticism i could have is that i wish there was more, but considering 1) getting 100% completion took me about 18 hours 2) i can see myself enjoying replaying the game that's not much of a negative. if anything, its a testament to how much i enjoyed the game.

This game was such a calming, meditative balm during a rough time for me. Quiet and satisfying. Is this what people get out of doing real jigsaw puzzles? I gotta start....

Lovely from start to finish, arranging those puzzles without knowing the end result sure gets endearing, with the game often tossing in pieces from other similar puzzles to trick you into thinking they're related. Every few puzzles solved, you get rewarded with a package containing new puzzle pieces, and also an occasion to chat with (or more accurately listen to) the postwoman, Sam ! So yeah, Wilmot Works It Out is a chill (litteral) puzzle game with a nice little story going, there's also a marathon mode where you get every puzzle pieces in the game in a random order that provides a nice challenge after finishing the game. Try it out, it's neat !
