If you played the original then you don't have to buy this, as the price increase isn't worth the almost non-existing content. Why am I giving it a good reviews than? Because this game is super good, this version of the game aren't worst when it comes to game itself, and the game is super good (unlike some of the other remaster that I know), I want people to know that for those who never played Yakuza before. The problem is, they delisted the original, barely any new upgrades, with a price increase, delisting probably being the biggest issue here, that's why some give it a bad reviews cause that gives them a bad impression, making them look super greedy, a cash grab, so if you have the original then you don't have to buy it, but if you don't have the original then just know this is a very fun game, alot of people favorite Yakuza game infact. Though, buying the bundle will give you this game anyway, not the original though of course.

Gonna echo my same sentiments from the Kiwami releases: It is still Yakuza 0, which is arguably the best in the entire franchise, if it is your first time playing, there is no better place to start. Everyone (myself included) is just mad about Sega's strategy with these releases and its understandably annoying and very anti-consumer. So don't let the mixed or negative reviews reflect the actual quality of the game here. Yakuza 0 is still an amazing game. Some people say the new additions aren't worth the asking price. Which, yeah, I get it, the original game retailed for $60 at launch and continued to get heavily discounted until it landed on $20 or less. So for this newer version being $50 is a little ridiculous in my opinion, even if you've never played Yakuza before. But what are the new additions? Mainly: English dub, Chinese dub, new cutscenes, new music that was not featured in the original, and Red Light Raid mode. If you're worried about the English dub ruining the experience, you can still play the Japanese dub. So its a none-issue. The new cutscenes, while controversial, will not impact your overall enjoyment of the story. There's only one that's like egregiously awful but the others are fine. The new music tracks are good. And Red Light Raid mode can be fun if you have friends to play it with, otherwise its fine at best. So ultimately, if you're reading this as someone who's never played Yakuza before, I would highly recommend this game as a good starting point, but at the same time, Sega games always go on sale shortly after release, so maybe wait a bit before overpaying for this. ALTERNATIVELY, you can still get the original version on GOG as of writing this, which is still $20 and is overall the better deal here. If you are a Yakuza fan and already own the original Yakuza 0, $15 to upgrade for what seems like whatever updates is understandable, especially for how much space this game takes now and after seeing the upgrades from the Kiwami releases, this one definitely feels like the worst deal. But really its up to you if you want to pass on this or not.

English dub is okay but not a fan of delisting the original version of the game.

DON'T USE THE ENGLISH DUB! Kiryu sounds like a scrawny geek trying to sound tough and failing at it miserably. Whoever that guy is should've been playing the guy getting beat up in the intro or better yet not voice acting at all. Many other characters are voiced by people who sound like they shouldn't be voice acting either. Distracting. Stick with the Japanese voices. Great game, the English dub is my only complaint.
