All I know is there is a guy who is calling. I can't tell if he's Fortna or Vordna or something in between, but if you listen carefully during defense mode when you're the shop and building phase between nights, you'll know what I'm telling you. In all seriousness, it's a simple game with no official story or explanation. Sometimes, that's all a player needs.
