Well. Normally my reviews tend to be a bit on the lengthy side, but for this one, there isn't a great deal to say. I came for the achievements to use on my profile and that's what I paid for. I ended up playing every level of the game and getting 100% and actually enjoyed getting there. Not difficult, but a couple of the levels do make you give them a little thought to get through them. Very simple physics stuff. Get the object to settle on the green pad to complete the level, normally by blowing up a little red block. Very easy on the brain for the most part. The achievement images turned out to be a bonus on this one. Just the 26 other Zup games to gradually work my way through now. Gotta give a thumbs up for this one. I knew what I was buying and got what I came for, with a little fun game to go with it. If you are wanting proper game time for more than a few minutes, maybe avoid it. If you want to build your collection of achievement points and tiles to use in your profile. The Zup series hits the spot, although I've used one of the other Zup games for the letters on my profile page.
Simple, Quick, and Surprisingly Addictive I started playing Zup! without knowing much about it. I had simply noticed that many people seemed to be playing it and decided to give it a try. The game itself is extremely simple: a small physics-based puzzle experience built around explosions and chain reactions. There isn't much complexity here, and considering the game's tiny size, that's exactly what I expected. Hard to Stop Once You Start What surprised me was how difficult it was to stop playing once I got started. I completed the entire game and earned all achievements in about 15 minutes, all in a single session. Every puzzle is quick to solve, but there's something satisfying about immediately moving on to the next one and seeing the chain reactions unfold. It's one of those games where you keep saying "just one more level" until suddenly the credits appear. Final Verdict Zup! is a very small and very simple game, but it succeeds at what it sets out to do. Don't expect a deep puzzle experience, but if you're looking for a short, relaxing game that can be completed in a single sitting, it's an enjoyable little distraction.
