Alright, so I had a blast with this game. The whole "tons of enemies flying at you and wiping them off the map" thing is super fun, and it definitely scratches that bullet hell itch. Plus, the pixel art looks pretty sweet. BUT (you knew there was a but, right?), there were a couple of things that kinda bugged me. First off, that "Play 500 Games" achievement? Seriously?! I ended up having to jump in and out of games like 400 times just to get it. It felt like a total waste of time, and honestly, the game even froze up on me a few times when I was trying to speed things up. Lame. Then there's the equipment. Ugh. I get it, it's a roguelite, so randomness is part of the deal. But man, trying to get the gear you actually want feels like pulling teeth. Even with all the talent upgrades, it's still a pain. And don't even get me STARTED on reforging! Getting the exact same item with slightly different sub-stats? That's just twisting the knife. So yeah, overall, I had a good time. The core gameplay is solid and addictive. But that ridiculous achievement and the frustrating equipment system definitely bring it down a notch. It's fun, but definitely not the best game out there. Just a heads-up if you're thinking about picking it up!

They nailed it. Very fun! Just want more characters, more stands, more levels, more everything. Well worth the money, happy the devs are planning more content!

Everything was really underpowered at the start and it's quite a grind to build up anytime you unlock a new hero. The stands also take quite a bit of work to unlock all of them, due to several requiring achievements. After getting through most of that grind, I've been enjoying the game a ton. It also run fantastically on the SteamDeck!

Steam refunded because it crashed a few times and had no ultrawide support. However, I still recommend this with a few caveats. The team management is great... combining character star levels, creating new characters from pair combos, figuring out the synergies, and leveling them all up was awesome. But keep in mind all you do is stand there while a bunch of people fight for you - fine - I like that... but give ME something to do too: a dash, a banner to toss down to inspire them, let me yell at them... SOMETHING. Thus the gameplay/combat itself isn't active enough for my tastes, but I still think the theory crafting potential for building your team and weapons/gear is off the charts.

This is one of the more complex Bullet Heavens out there. It combines some of the common Auto-Battler Mechanics (reroll for Heros, combine them) etc. with the genre. Since you have no idea when you start playing what combos you can get (or which one are good) its kind of difficult. If you are looking for something to "pick up , and be successfull", this is probably not for you, expect the first 2-3 hours to me more of a trial and error "tutorial". There is MetaProgression, and as far as i can tell after 3 hours, it take quite a lot of game time to unlock new stuff If i had to pick something i do not like, its how the item upgrade system works. Basicly you have 6 Slots on your partyleader, the items itself are quite basic in terms of what they do (just stat boni , eg. + HP, + damage etc, no real "run defining items). Thats fine, but upgrading them is a gamble. You combine 2 "similar" items, and get a higher Tier . This Item seems to have random new stats, so you could end up "destroying" your + physical damage swords for a strong, but in this run useless Caster Item... You can reroll Items, but this is also a gamble... Its not the end of the world, but in general i dislike "gamble" upgrade Systems. Still : All in all i like it, its something "fresh" in the bullet Heaven Genre.
