I've been exploring and enjoying Chinese FMV games lately, and this one is among the best ones I've played. The story about an ex cop who wakes up one day, injured and having a strange watch connected to his wrist, he then realises his daughter has been kidnapped. The kidnapper sent him a phone to keep in contact with him, giving him difficult missions to fulfil within a minimal time, as he can see on the countdown watch. The choices will shape the main character's personality and the way he perceives things around him. Each chapter will have multiple endings depending on your actions. Although not all of them are likeable, they kept the story interesting, and I was wondering how it would end. The more you interact with the people around you, the more you'll learn and can analyse the actions and decide how to react to each character, either trust them or not. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3568779486 There are a couple of puzzles, but nothing too difficult to solve, and if you get a bad ending, you could always navigate the map and return to any scene you want to change your response to it to get another outcome. This significantly increases the game's replayability until you achieve 100% completion on each day. The ending depends on your relationship with all four characters and whether you aid them or not. Fixing the relationship is easy, as you don't have to replay the entire game; only the scene where you interacted with them is required. Rescue the Girl (极速营救) is a well-produced FMV action thriller. The story follows a former cop forced into a series of dangerous missions to save his daughter, from underground casinos and gang conflicts to intense chases. The plot is packed with twists and feels more like watching a mini-series than a typical FMV game. Strong performances, sharp visuals, and four distinctive female leads keep the narrative engaging throughout. Gameplay is straightforward — choices are limited and QTEs are mostly cinematic rather than challenging. Still, there’s a basic stat system and multiple endings that add replay value. As a “movie-game,” the movie part is excellent while the game part is just serviceable. Overall, Rescue the Girl (极速营救) is well worth trying if you enjoy action and crime dramas. Rapid Rescue “极速营救" is a professionally made action-thriller FMV that has an exceptional story, good action, and fantastic characters. If you’re here for the ‘dating sim’ component then know it is a lesser element. While Rapid Rescue is a good experience overall, the biggest issue is that it is not quite enough of a game, as it is quite linear without enough participation. You play as ex-cop Detective Shao and wake up with a surgical scar on your stomach. You get a call from an encrypted phone by a person that kidnapped your daughter. The bomb they planted in your abdomen will explode if you don’t do what they say—the watch they put on your wrist will tell you how long you have. The first task is to feed a guy some rotten meat, as a trial run. Then you must recover a questionable video from a local punk. The tasks become more involved and more dangerous, and some open old wounds. The story is amazingly well layered, up there with a high quality TV series, with lots of intrigue and plenty of drama as you cycle through the tasks. There are some amazing detective revelations and the fight scenes are decent. Try to play it blind, as you will get more out of it. The story pays off and it takes a healthy 6.5 hours to run through the first time. Along the way you meet four women who come into the story one after the other. These are love interests, but the romance part makes up only 10-20% of the whole. The four women include a doctor, a mute kung-fu biker, a sultry hacker, and a femme fatale lawyer—they are all great and the same goes for most of the main characters. Choices increase affection and this will alter the concluding chapter slightly. While this all sounds great, you’re going to be a viewer far more than a player. There are not enough dialogue choices and scenes are long without much player input. Only a few branching paths feel significant; most bad choices (or failed QTEs) lead to a premature ending ala [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/2758000/Vanity_Fair_The_Pursuit/]Vanity Fair: The Pursuit. There are many situations where just one dialogue branch would have added so much, like when you’re with one love interest while on the run. Compared to other gems this year, like [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/3391500/_/]Detective, Guard My Secret , the choice-and-consequence is too minimal. So it is no surprise that it only takes 2 more hours to see everything. English translation is fine, although there are both Chinese and English subtitles on the screen at once. Some text (e.g. letters) is not translated. Video quality and directing is excellent, and it does not seem like there is any face blurring. All the audio is live recorded and this helps to raise the overall quality. Just a bit more interaction would have gone a long way into making this good game a truly great one.

虽然是好评 但是以下我要写的都是通关后个人认为需要批判和改进的地方 虽然不是优映的老粉, 但也是多年的粉丝, 上剧都会支持. 优映初次进入影游, 算是交出了一份合格的作业, 但也仅仅是刚刚及格 影游, 不止影还有游, 优映对影的部只是正常发挥, 但是在游的方面差强人意 毕竟是初次踏足游戏领域, 肉眼可见的对游戏性开发非常薄弱, 多数还是合作公司想象颗粒的开发 ●游戏UI过于硬朗和简陋 (想象颗粒的反转21克就是这种风格) ●游戏的支线内容过于仓促简陋, 玩家参与感不够 ●洞察力和好感度系统开发浮于表面 ●游戏部分BGM过于刺耳和突兀 没有人物专属歌曲和BGM(可能跟资金不足有关) 很多所谓的支线感觉都是强行延伸不需要的内容, 失败结局的后续也没给出额外剧情 4个结局都是依靠洞察力多少来判定, 而不是根据剧情走向写的完整结局 可以看出冬冬最后的结局才是剧组真正唯一的结局 其他三个结局都是额外从原本已经写好的剧本里剥离出来的, 写的非常生硬 并且, 很多细节都还是毛骗的老套路, 换一个保险箱偷取密码, 这都是毛骗里用烂的诡计了 咱就是说, 能不能有点新意, 给点新诡计行吗? 大结局就不提了, 冬冬那一通电话我自己已经脑补完剩下的剧情了, 全都能猜到 再来说说好感度, 真的挺搞笑的, 好感度只是最后影响会不会来探监的评判标准 我来告诉你们好感度要怎么用: 首先 故事线界面要显示每位女性的好感度值, 让玩家随时可以查看以便进行下一步游戏 1. 邵子跟文静去医美公司查记录, 暴露后的选项 A邵子单干 B文静帮忙 此处 如果好感度够, 可以选择文静帮忙 如果文静好感度不够无法触发帮忙, 此选项被锁, 只能选单干 2. 邵子去放债公司偷护照出来从后门逃跑过程中 A 如果阿紫好感度够, 会骑机车来接, 成功逃脱 B 如果好感度不够 阿紫便不会来接, 邵子任务失败 此处还要说一下支线的完成度问题, 失败不是只给一个结局画面就好 应该要拍出是如何失败的, 邵子被打死或被抓或者另外的处境, 这些关于支线的处理全游戏都没有处理, 这也能看出优映是完完全全不熟悉影游, 还在用拍剧的思维做游戏 3. 以上只是我个人举例好感度系统, 重大选择点可以启用, 根据剧情需要设置 知道你们拍剧不容易想回本, 理解你们的做法, 但是看了一圈下来, 对于这次的质量, 其实普通玩家是不买账的 在如今影游也是很卷的情况下, 如果优映还想继续涉足这个领域, 你们需要学习和改进的东西有太多太多了 最后, 还是希望游戏能卖好, 加油吧.

Definitely the best FMV I have played so far, the bar sets so high that the quality of dialogues, acting skills and contents are top notch, a real high quality production. A total pleasure and satisfaction. Hope to see their next production as well made as this.
