Chad's break up simulator. You break up with each of your ex-girlfriends before your wedding. With the possibility to do it one last time with them if you want to. This is a true Chad experience where as a mere mortal I can only marvel in envy at how amazing it would have been to not only have these girls falling for you, but then to break up with them. As such I had mixed feeling while playing this. Unlike other FMV games where the dating and playing around are things I can relate to because I have some sweet memories irl. This game is totally different. This game is life experiences I know some guys do have, but I never had a chance to have. Some of the thing that happen here are beyond my wildest dreams. So it's difficult to relate to it, and that is just... ... oh man! Life is unfair. Sigh. Sigh... Sigh!!! Anyway, Cindy is best girl. She can be my boss anytime. Xia Meng is second. So it turns out the real gold digger is me. lol.

Drive Me Crazy, developed by Tenth Art Studio and published by EE GAMES alongside Tenth Art Studio, presents itself as a bold entry into the FMV dating simulation space, blending interactive storytelling with romantic drama and a touch of playful excess. Rather than relying on traditional gameplay loops, it leans heavily into cinematic presentation and player choice, inviting you to step into the shoes of a protagonist caught in a chaotic turning point of his life. The premise is immediately dramatic—on the brink of marriage, a single careless moment leads to the loss of a wedding ring, triggering a cascade of encounters and decisions that test loyalty, desire, and personal integrity. This setup effectively frames the entire experience as a balancing act between commitment and temptation, giving players a clear emotional anchor while still leaving room for exploration. What carries the game forward is its branching narrative design, which offers multiple romantic paths and outcomes depending on the choices you make. Each decision feels deliberate, often shaping not just immediate reactions but the broader direction of relationships and eventual endings. The women you encounter are written to represent different personalities and emotional dynamics, ranging from sincere and vulnerable to bold and unpredictable. While some character archetypes may feel familiar to fans of the genre, the variety ensures that each route has its own tone and rhythm. This diversity encourages replayability, as uncovering different storylines reveals new layers of the narrative and provides alternative perspectives on the protagonist’s journey. The FMV format is central to the game’s appeal, and Drive Me Crazy makes solid use of it. The first-person perspective places you directly into conversations and situations, creating a sense of immediacy that animated or text-based visual novels sometimes struggle to achieve. Performances from the cast play a significant role in selling the experience, with expressive acting helping to convey emotional nuance and tension. While the production values are not on the level of high-budget cinematic projects, there is a clear effort in framing, lighting, and scene composition that enhances immersion. The soundtrack complements this approach with character-specific themes and mood-setting tracks that reinforce the emotional beats of each scene. To break up the narrative flow, the game introduces light interactive elements in the form of mini-games. These segments are relatively simple but serve a functional purpose, adding a layer of engagement beyond dialogue selection. Success or failure in these moments can subtly influence relationship progression, giving players a sense that their involvement extends beyond passive viewing. That said, these mechanics remain fairly shallow and are unlikely to satisfy players looking for deeper gameplay systems. They feel more like supportive features rather than a core pillar of the experience, but they do help maintain pacing and prevent the story from becoming overly static. Despite its strengths, the game does have its limitations. The storytelling, while engaging, occasionally leans on predictable romantic tropes and exaggerated scenarios, which can make certain developments feel less impactful than intended. Some character routes are more fleshed out than others, leading to an uneven sense of depth across playthroughs. Additionally, the emphasis on fan-service and suggestive themes may not resonate with everyone, as it sometimes overshadows the more grounded emotional moments the narrative tries to build. Players expecting intricate mechanics or a more traditional gameplay structure may also find the experience lacking in complexity. Overall, Drive Me Crazy is a focused and unapologetically niche title that understands exactly what it wants to deliver. It thrives as an interactive romantic drama where choices matter, characters take center stage, and the appeal lies in exploring different emotional outcomes rather than mastering gameplay systems. For fans of FMV titles and dating simulations, it offers a compelling mix of storytelling and interactivity that makes it worth experiencing, even if it doesn’t push the genre forward in a significant way. 8/10. The story's quite straightforward but the acting's not quite well. First work from Mikami after AV's retirement so she may need some time

Drive Me Crazy is a decent FMV overall, not outstanding but entertaining enough to keep me playing. Honestly, Yua Mikami was the main reason I bought this game, and her route alone made it worth a try. The other storylines with different female characters are okay, but nothing particularly memorable. The game does a good job of catching modern trends, mixing internet culture, gossip, and relationship drama in a way that feels current and a little chaotic but fun. One of the more interesting parts is JingRui Cao’s route: depending on your choices, you end up on opposite sides of the football rivalry. If you’re a Portugal (CR7) fan, she’s a Messi supporter, and vice versa. It seems a bit silly at first, but it’s surprisingly fun to play through. Visually, it looks fine with solid production, decent acting, and smooth transitions. Some routes feel rushed or lack emotional weight, but overall it’s a light, trend-driven FMV that doesn’t overstay its welcome. If you’re into FMV games and want something modern, playful, and easy to enjoy, Drive Me Crazy is definitely worth a shot, especially if, like me, you came for Yua Mikami.
