A reasonable length horror game depending on its achievement types. The game has story mode and survival both. So, recommended for achievement hunters who will like a bit challenge. During my play through I did not find any remarkable bug (as long as you are not crossing the fog; or is it?) . So, a bug free neat game. I recommend this highly to horror lovers also. This is "cry of fear" with a new wrapper. If you liked that then you will like this. Small and neatly packed, the game has some good horror development but unfortunately suffers from the same thing as most small games..... limited enemies and puzzles. The atmosphere and story and fairly standard for a game like this (see "cry of fear"), however the feeling of the game as it is more polished comes across. The ditching of a HUD, the audio effects were just chilling. For a cheap little thriller, this is a good choice.
OK. I really must say i am surprised by this game, it was a pretty decent game. Had a good 2-3 jumpscares, that really got me ahahha The atmosphere was good. The only problem i really had was music,i did not have any... almost, only sometimes it will pop up for i don't know 5-10 sec and again gone, and when i use the phone i only again have music for 1-2 sec. But not really a big problem at all. Really loved the story, that really surprised me, especially for like a small indie game. The ending had a good twist i also did not expect that whatsoever, that blew my mind, for a game like this was really cool. Yea, overall decent game. Congrats DEVS <3
If you're a fan of old school survival horror where resource management and combat were a challenge, this may be exactly what you're looking for. Admittedly, I am bad at all games. Even says so on my profile. :P I couldn't get all the way to the end in this just yet. This reminds me of the old horror survivor games where you had to restart a few times because you want to manage your bullets or health boosts better. The game gets more fun as you improve because it's really challenging. Have I mentioned the puzzles yet? There are puzzles that are a little tricky, but once you get used to how the game is played they get a lot easier. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the messages on the cell phone that would pop up. Sometimes they were helpful, other times they would make me roll my eyes. :P One day I will finish this game. But until then, all I can do is tell people how fun it is. And at a $2 price point(now on sale for $0.75) it's totally a steal.
