At first look you'd think that finding all 100 cats would be relatively easy but, some of these were pretty cleverly concealed. The only thing that I would like to see is the ability to move it to another monitor. Otherwise, fun game and my wife really enjoyed it! Thanks to the devs!

-Atratzu Steam Only Review- It’s hard to recommend or not recommend a game where I played for roughly 10 minutes and finished it. But it’s also exactly as advertised… Find 100 hidden cats; I found them. I just thought there might be more than one level. 100 Hidden Cats was developed by Anatoliy Loginovskikh and the Art was done by Аlexandr Telminov and released in 2021. This is a continuation of at least 18 other hidden-object games, each which I assume at this point is exactly like this one where you load the game, click on every one of the objects you can find, and get a steam achievement for each one. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3339679664 I picked up 100 Hidden Cats on a 90% off sale this (2024) summer, because I wanted to pick up something different and the art looked cute so I figured “why not?”, In my mind I thought maybe there would be a few levels, or maybe it would be like a ‘Where is Waldo?” (Or “Where is Wally” for you UK folks) There’s one level, and you click on 100 Cats. I assume for the remaining hidden object games developed by Anatoliy Loginovskikh made it’s the same thing, find the 100 Turtles, Snails, Snails 2, eternals, cats 2, frogs, frogs 2, birds, bird 2, hares, mice, rams, dogs, fish, cups, gnomes, aliens, cupcakes, and mushrooms for each separate game respectively. The conflicting point is: I don’t know that I’d personally buy a hidden object game for $2.. But it’s not like the asking price is too high. I picked it up on a 90% off sale after all… And unlike other steam games in this type of category this one actually delivers what you were expecting, and isn’t just an asset flipper or using stolen stuff. So in that respect these hidden object games are reasonable. In my mind, I guess I would compare this to a hidden object book you’d read with your kid or give to a child. It looks like on Amazon “Where is Waldo” books are going for roughly 5-8 dollars and that looks to be the curve for most other hidden object books, at least the one for Bluey was the same price… The problem is, the physical version of these books has roughly 30-35 pages. This game might fit into 3 or 6 of those pages. So maybe the value comes out pretty close. I’d personally prefer to just get the “Anatoliy Loginovskikh Hidden Object Master Collection” Where you would have all the games mashed into one steam game. If that ever gets made, I think that would be a good value. (There’s a free idea for you Anatoliy if you see this!) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3339685498 Conclusion: My goal in this review was to be like “Hey here’s the price of hidden object books”, and contrast that to this hidden object game. But if you want to get an easy 100 achievements for your steam profile, or you value the interactive element in this game over simply looking at a printed book, that’s perfectly fine. And I’ve played my share of awful RPGmaker games, and had some terrible asset flipped 3D platformer game keys sent to me over the years. And this Hidden object game was actually very pleasant, albeit very short. I only have 20 minutes in the game because I accidentally undid all my steam achievements when I saw on the store page how to reset the game… I wanted to reset the game, not the steam achievements. Oops! But what would I know? I’m just a random guy on the internet who has spent more time writing this review than the time I spent playing the game.
