A Gentlemen's Dispute is very fun, but only, only, and only with friends. That’s where the game shines. You laugh your ass off, matches feel balanced, and it’s a kind of chaotic fun that makes you want to keep playing and actually enjoy it. Now, what’s the problem? Playing online against other players is a total nightmare. It’s full of tryhards who don’t even give you room to breathe. They hit you with item combos and upgrades that absolutely crush you without mercy. You’re still flying around like a ragdoll, haven’t even touched the ground yet, and you’re already at 30% health. The game has several strong points, dynamic fights, the item system (again), and a solid presentation. It also has multiple game modes, maps, and content that could be expanded even further, but overall it’s pretty good. With friends, it’s amazing. Online with tryhards, it’s a pain in the ass. So yeah, I recommend it, but with caution.
