Complete everything you want to do (find all the scents for example) BEFORE you knock down the door to free the mother. After you do that, the game is over. It does not allow you to go back to finish anything. :( There is a lot of traversing back and forth, but you can also run everywhere if you want, and after you open a few gates, it is easier to get around. The watering can is not at the cabin, so don't think you're missing anything there. The game makes it sound like you're supposed to direct the people to throw away their trash in the trash cans. There are no people. You're supposed to do it, fyi. There are a few trail cameras that pop up a square video (in the lower right corner of your screen) of what they see when you walk into their view range. I thought someone was hacking my computer or something when I first saw it. Had know idea what it was or why it was there all of a sudden and then not. Don't freak out. Part of the game. Heh. Have fun.
I feel like the name Adorable Adventure describes this game perfectly. This has to be one of the cutest games I’ve played. As soon as I heard about it, I was sure I'd play it one day, but I have to say, the game surprised me more than I expected. One of the things I wasn't expecting was the narrator and the way the story was presented. The narrator isn't constantly there telling you what to do, but instead follows along with the story as your adventure progresses. I really enjoyed that because it gave the game its own personality and made the experience feel more engaging. I also really liked how silly the game could be at times. There are moments where you can approach things with a bit of that childlike way of thinking, and I loved seeing how the narrator reacted to some of those moments. It made the whole experience feel playful and reminded me that this game wasn't afraid to have a little fun with itself. It's one of those things I think is better experienced for yourself, so I don't want to say too much and spoil anything. I also really liked the different little challenges scattered throughout the game. They gave you reasons to actually explore the areas rather than simply moving forward and finishing the story. Everything felt like it was encouraging you to take your time and see what the game had to offer. If you're someone who enjoys getting achievements, I think the game does a particularly good job with them. It really makes sure that you experience the entire area and, in a way, the entire game. Getting all of the achievements isn't simply a matter of playing through the story; some of them make you stop, think, remember something you've seen, or pay closer attention to your surroundings. I found that really smart because it encouraged me to explore things I might otherwise have walked right past.
This game is tremendous. If you enjoyed STRAY you'll love this. Very relaxing game to just explore and enjoy the creation that the devs made. I did almost 100% of the game in around 5 hours so the normal person would probably take 3. I cannot recommend this game enough, it's adorable!
It took me 6 hours to beat this game. It was super cute. I don't think it's for everybody but it was for me, because I literally have a house pig and I love pigs. Love the happy ending. HATED the map. I wish they'd put an icon to show where you are or at least a compass to show which direction you're going. But I did enjoy my time as Boris sniffing around the beautiful world.
