Interesting game. It's a solid 8/10, it doesn't try to do anything bombastic. Got it in a bundle some time ago and finally gave it a shot. It can take a bit to get used to the control, as you kinda move the "center" of where the mob should go. Playing with KB+M, you can sometimes try to attack but your aim won't be on top of an enemy, which can make you lose some of your rioters. The game is quick, stages will take 1 to 5 minutes to beat. Each city will some new challenge, either as an enemy or a new type of puzzle. Some stages are challenges to change the pacing a bit, where you have to sneak without being seeing, as a single rioter doesn't stand a chance against a single police. Animals are cute as hell and the music is also cute, sounds like a bunch of children going "la-dee-la". Getting an S rank on all stages of a given city is not easy and frankly not something I'm willing to go after, even if it does unlock outfits. At the end of each city there is a boss. The Paris boss was very annoying, hitting the back tentacle-legs with the laser was hard.
It's a cute little riot game that tests your skills w/ the option of achieving "S-ranks" of all levels. As a professional hardstuck silver player, it's definitely my cup of tea. Aside from my self-deprecation, yeah no-it's great! Controls are easy, gameplay feels great, and the challenges are rewarding. And I enjoy collecting all of the animals as my rioters. If you want something cozy with a hint of the destruction, this'll be a classic!
