This game is a gem! I don't think I can simp enough for this for one, the synthwave retro futuristic vibe and music, a kick ass protagonist that reminds me somewhat of Cowboy Bebop for some reason, a nice cast of supporting characters - a simple yet fun to follow plot and lots and lots of fighting. For a side scrolling beat-em-up style game, the dev managed to pack it a lot of possible combos with a variety of tools at your disposal. Anomaly Agent combines the best of all my favorite themes and game elements together in delicious bite sized package - recently I was travelling a lot so I kept it installed on my ROG Ally X and had a great time cramming in hours of beating up clones to the soothing and addictive synthwave beats! I also love the idea of simpler enemies combining into higher tier enemies and there being a well thoughtout hierarchy of clones and how the more they recombine the more tough and annoying they can become to fight so there's always an incentive to not play defensively but offensively. Chef's kiss! Hey devs, if you're reading this - I'd LOVE a sequal to Anomaly Agent, considering how TDAY is one giant organisation and the ripples of consequences of this story can be used as seeds for more branching stories with more Anomaly Agents on their own missions - looking forward to Anomaly Agent 2 !

Anomaly agent it’s so fun. You are Agent 70, fight strange things in cool cyberpunk city. Fighting is fast, feel good—use weapons or time moves, very nice. Controls easy, make combos fun. Pixel art is bright, neon look awesome. Synthwave music make you feel in game. 3 hours ı played. ı have to play more. I like it a lot, want play more. looks super cheap If you like Katana Zero, you love this. Some enemies same, but still good.

Anomaly Agent is a stylish combat game with platformer elements from a newly-formed Turkish studio, about a secret agent kicking butt to prevent temporal paradoxes to destroy the world. I enjoyed it and I'm going to follow their upcoming works. Pros: + Cool soundtrack that is appropriate to the flow of the action + Nice graphics + Precise controls that help with the flow of the combat + Good dose of humour for a story that doesn't take itself too seriously + Nice amount of save points as to not make it too frustrating in certain parts + The roguelite mode after completing the main story is a nice addition Cons: - The last part of the game doesn't introduce anything new in terms of enemies or gimmicks - The comedy kind of disappears in the last phase - Disappointing ending that doesn't explain much of anything - Gets kind of repetitive near the end All in all a good effort from a new team, now let's see what they will do in Anomaly President!
