As someone who is studying cyber security this is close to the real deal. The only thing I wish was that the CLI was more like IRL where you can cd through the folders and also list files and also cat the .txt files.

It's pretty accurate (one of the most in hacking games), but not really realistic, maybe around 30% for basic OSINT and networking, and it’s pretty fun, especially with physical attacks where you have to infiltrate. Commands are super simplified for obvious reasons, and the malware and exploits use real names and work in a similar way, but instead of crafting them you just buy and use the payloads. Making it fully realistic would feel more like a job than a game, so what it offers is both accurate and fun, which is awesome and honestly a really good mix. Having multiple desktops to switch between terminals and the underground web and hackify instead of having 20 things open would make it much better.

Very fun idea, the game plays really well and the methods themselves aren't too terribly far off. One feature that I think would REALLY sell the game is multi-monitor support. I have 4 monitors, 3 side-by-side and one tv above the 3 for whatever I want to put up there. Being able to put the game on the bottom three monitors or even one of them and be able to drag my note pad or my terminal windows to different monitors would be AMAZING!!!!

I was kinda hoping for more true to life shell experience so I could keep my skills sharp without getting into trouble, but ah well. Still a pretty cool game

It's an interesting game with an interesting story, while I personally am a real cybersecurity specialist, I can say I appreciate the somehow closeness to the reality with the shell commands although simplifies syntax. I like how you can choose what to do and how much damage to do, I overall recommend it for those curious how a "hacker" world would kinda look like. The game showcase different real named exploits and techniques both remote and physical while maintaining the simplicity of a game. For the story and overall experience I give it 4.5/5, for higher difficulties I think they could have increase the realism of the shell commands executed and overall techniques but I appreciate the effort of making it come close to real life. I can't wait for a sequel perhaps? With a story more engaging and complex as this, plot twist and higher difficulties.
